Excellent product! I just saved the hefty cost of having to call a plumber to fix my dishwasher because of this nifty little tool! By cleaning out the air gap of my dishwasher using this tool my dishwasher was fixed, and running at full capacity in minutes. Easy to use. Sturdy. More than enough length to reach kitchen and bathroom piping. Well made, with the added bonus of the handle for easy control. This product was ordered, delivered, received, and my dishwasher problem solved within 48 hours! It’s definitely one of the handiest tools to have to clear a clog and to use for cleaning maintenance. I’ll keep it where it can be quickly found and reused as needed. I absolutely recommend this product! It came well packaged in a padded envelope straight to the mailbox- safe and secure and super quick! It’s well worth the price and a must have for anyone that wants to avoid expensive plumbing cost. Keep in mind that I am not a diy person. I literally opened the package, inserted the snake like wire with the bristle tip, easily maintaining control with the handle, and instantly cleared my dishwasher air gap and pipe. I continued to clean the pipe with the tool until the brush came back clean. It didn’t take 5 mins to complete the entire job! I didn’t even have to change clothes, or struggle at all! Less than 5 minutes and the job was completed and several dollars were saved in what could have been costly plumbing charges! Don’t hesitate! Buy this ingenious little tool and keep it handy!

I'm sure this does great for other tubes, however, it ripped a hole in my CPAP tube. Went in easy enough but when I tried to pull the brush back out it got stuck. If it is a snug fit the bristles do not like getting pulled in the opposite direction. They got stuck in the grooves which exposed the metal "hook" in the brush and caused it to tear a huge hole in it. I gave it 4 stars still because I am saving it for my routine cleaning. It looks like it will do a great job for awkward cleaning like shower drains etc. The long wire is strong enough and it has a nice handle at the end.

I looked at several items, many of which were specifically for cleaning the air gap tube. However, they seemed a bit short, and one even specifically mentioned in a review that the 30" was just a tad too short to get the job done. I measure my air gap tubing and found that it was, as best I could tell, painfully close to the length of most of the tools. Furthermore, the tools labelled as being for the air gap tube were more expensive. I decided to look in more detail at the reviews on this item, and the first several mentioned air gap cleaning, even though it's not called out in the product title at all. That convinced me. It was a bit of a fight to get down the tube, but I think that was just because of the twists and turns, and whatever it was that clogged it. The product has a handle on one end to facilitate twisting, making progress or retraction easier. With some effort (not unexpected) I popped the obstruction out, and the air gap works like a charm now. Very happy!

Saved me the cost of calling a plumber! My airgap was spewing smelly water whenever I used the dishwasher. I tried a different clog brush, but I think it wasn't long enough because it didn't help at all. This one did the trick. I really shoved it down in there as far as I could... so far, in fact, that getting it back up was a little tough. I'm pretty short, so I didn't have the best angle to get it back up. I solved that problem by climbing on the counter and pulling directly up. That did the trick! I used it twice to be thorough, and my stinky problem was resolved!

Bristles are very stiff, such that if cleaning anything less than one inch in diameter, it's very difficult to push more than a foot or so in. Also, used for cleaning homebrew vinyl blowoff tube and brush became stained/coated with residue that won't come off - have used lots of different types and sizes of brushes over the years to clean homebrew equipment and this is the only one that's ever done this.

Im not too impressed with this tube brush. The bristles are very hard and there isn't a lot of them. They really should have made it with double amount and a bit softer. As it is, they're going to dig into the tubing and get stuck. If you can use it with those problems and limitations, then it will probably be ok.

Dishwasher Air Gap gunk pusher, deplugger, unclogger extraordinaire.. Got it out of the package, jammed it down my dishwasher air gap.. and pushed what ever was clogging the line between the dishwasher and disposal no more flooding under my sink and overflow on my counter.....in less than a minute or so... the item is crude but effective, flexible enough to make the turns/angles from the air gap to the disposal.. . Worked for me. price is decent and I will keep it around for future clogs. Luckily I did not have many bends from the gap to the disposal.. worked like a charm.

Finding a brush that is long enough and strong enough to clean out my aquarium canister filter tubes was hard until I found this product. It fits nicely in the 1/2 tubing and gets algae and gunk out of the tubes. I had to cut the handle off so I could pull it all the way through the tubes, though. I would recommend this product .
