great kit for so much at good cost. highly recommended! for beginners and experienced!

Has almost everything you will need for book binding. All made well and I will use for future projects.

Got into repairing antique books to put in my booths at malls. Got the right glue, tapes, etc. and this set has many of the special tools to do this for an amateur book conserver. I'm still learning but am able to get many of the books fixed well enough to sell without a lot of time & trouble. Do it while watching news etc. Set 1 aside for glue to dry while starting another.

This was an impressive kit for the price. This is my first book binding kit so I don’t have a comparison, but I have made 2 notebooks using these. I’m not sure if the awl is as sharp as they can be or if it would be better to invest in one that is much sharper, it works fine though. Haven’t used it for anything thicker than sketch paper. The thread it comes with is waxed. It definitely is easier to work with than I waxed thread, I will say it is excessively thick and over slathered in beeswax if you are trying to sew in very small signature holes it can fray and with the wax it is almost more unfixable. I will be using all of it as it is still quality and I only frayed with thread once easy to adjust once you work with that in mind. I do suggest for this or myself will be buying linen thread and simply running it through bee wax myself to control the thickness and focus it more at near the needlepoint than the entire strand. The bone folders are bone folders work absolutely great. The ruler is a very nice ruler and I’ve used it as a straight edge to tear my paper to get that distressed edge look. All and all of you are just starting out like me this is a great kit with the basic supplies you will need.

This is such a great value for the beginning bookbinder/journaler! It has everything you need to get started and the quality is really good. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Loads of bookbinding too S in one neat package. I love the very pointy awl; it goes through my watercolor paper with ease. I also appreciate the waxed lined threat in this set as well. And although I have some bone folders from years ago the ones included have a nice point which is perfect for using with my score board.

Great bundle for beginners! Worth the price if you're just getting started and no hesitation if you mess up.

Love it, Instead of looking all over the house for all the tools needed, this set has everything needed. Probably need to get a slighty larger plastic container so that you can put it all back in comfortably.
