FastCap Fatboy Extreme Carpenter/Mechanical Pencil

Bought as a Christmas present which was well received.

Great pencil! Very sturdy, marks bricks and blocks with ease. I've had other mechanical pencils and they work fine for a while but then they start to lose tightness when on the lead after a while, causing the lead to go back into the pencil. Great purchase!

Size of pencil ( diameter) was not as large as anticipated-I needed larger diameter because of disability!

Love this carpenter’s pencil. I’ve used many different types and this is particularly good. I usually leave the red lead in, so I have an alternative to my regular pencil. Sturdy. Easy to find lead replacements & it comes with several.

These pencils work great and don’t break easily. Need to have a small sharpener however to keep them sharp.

I use to use a regular pencil the lead either broke or you had a hard time seeing the mark. The fat boy doesnt break and the lines are easy to see. Marking walnut was always a problem the white lead makes it easy to see. It's all I use anymore. The handy sharpener on the end does a good job of sharpening.

I have allways kept a sharp pencil handy ant my home office until I discovered the Fat Boy. Now I carry one in my car, one in my EDC bag and one at my desk, 24/7. I have sworn off pencils. I also purchased a portable battery charged sharpner which I use when ever any one of the Fat Boys need to be sharpened. I have not broken a lead since I got Fat Boy because they are thick and sturdy. I keep replacement leads at my desk at home. My only problem is the small eraser at the top. I am always loosing one. I would love to find sutiable replacements erasers. This Fat Boy is the very best; go ahead, buy one, I recommend it.

Easy to use, solid round lead which stops it breaking like the carpenters pencil, husband loves it!
