10 oz Polishing Compound

I have oxidized paint on my truck due to the harsh summer sun. I tried other products but only got mediocre results. I saw this ABRO product and gave it a go. The white paste is not abrasive at all and it does not have a strong smell. I polished the roof with the ABRO and wow, it removed most of the oxidized paint, I was impressed. I highly recommend it since it restored the paint, not like new but good enough.

I found it worded really well on my truck oxidation. I tried a few products for this problem, Ithis worked the best! Smoothed the rough white patches and the vehicle looks much better.

I don’t know about “superior” but it seems to be good enough. It dries out a little too easily for my liking and I wish stuff like this didn’t smell like fuel oil, but this kind of product is essentially grit, wax, and some sort of solvent like fuel oil so I’m not sure much can be done about nasty smells. I actually used this to polish scratches out of plastic composite so wasn’t using it for the usual auto paint application. That required more work than usual since the material was harder, and that’s why I had some trouble with it getting too dry, but it’s probably fine in more normal situations. Tip: if this stuff does dry on something, just use more of the same from the jar to dissolve and soften it to wipe it off. Basically use the product itself as a solvent for removing dry patches of itself, because it contains the right solvent for itself anyway.

So far so good! I have yet to try it on nicer paint with some light to medium scratches, but it did wonders on sunfaded and oxidized clearcoat. Picture included is only cut compound, no polish or wax. And heavy hail damage on the hood with some rust spots, i just wanted to clean it up a bit and see how much the stuff could work. Pretty darn well! DONT SIT IN THE SAME SPOT, THIS STUFF IS AGGRESSIVE! On the fender you can see where I was messing around with a couple really rough spots, and one spot is chewed right through the paint.

More of a gel than a paste. Rubs in quickly. Takes effort, but not a lot. Rubs off easily too.. Looks great after waxing.

I had hard water stains on a black truck. Applied and buffed out by hand. The results were excellent, not perfect but much much better. Assume a buffer would get better results

Followed the instructions and oxidation removal did not work. However got a good shine on the paint. By the way, worked on the headlight covers.

I had a skid mark on my new car and used this and it rubbed it all out. The paint was not damaged. You can’t tell where it was .
