Gig Grips Reaaly Work!
I play in a band that has a 2 hour full on set, no slow songs all fast, I used to lose 4 sticks per gig. I've tried Sex Wax and everything. The Gig Grips are simple but increcidibly effective. No lost or dropped sticks!

not for real drummers and audaciously presented (in a bad way)!
I placed the order as a present for my other half. What arrived was 2 strips of rubber and a photo copy telling me they had removed the retail packaging to reduce their carbon footprint. - So no use whatsoever as a present!!! Anyways I decided to try them anyway myself. At first they seemed great however it was soon apparent that they impeded the freeflow and bounce of the stick. Different fingers allowed for sticking different strokes okay but no finger allowed me to play everything. This is pretty useless as it's totally impractical to swap fingers between strokes. On the positive side they stopped the sticks from flying off when the grip was too loose. I think where they could be very beneficial is for anyone with artheritis or any drummer who tends to hold the sticks too tight and is not concerned about finessing the sticking motion. I could have given them a neutral 3 stars or not bothered to post a review as they would benefit some less discerning drummers however the audacity of the supplier to send them unpackaged and try to hoodwink me into thinking it was for some social and envronmental good beggers belief. It's more like they had been a previous return! Bottom line for me is that these grips could be worth 4 or 5 stars to a very new beginner (if serious though should learn better grip technique) or to a drummer with a hand ailment like artheritis. For anyone else .. at best a waste of 12 quid or worse still inhibiting of a good sticking technique.

They work but there weak.
These work a treat! Only problems I’ve found is that if you break a stick mid song you’ve got zero chance of swapping the stick quickly. Also, they don’t last all that long. I’ve had a number of these and they have all snapped at the section that slips onto your stick. I think for the money these could be designed a bit better and thicker around the weak points. I think I’ll have a go at making some from a old drive belt from a vacuum cleaner. Yes they work a treat, but way too expensive and weak in my opinion

Very nice. I started playing drums again after 12 years and kept dropping the sticks so I was using a very tight grip. These grips have allowed to use a more relaxed grip which helps my technique. Very easy to use and adjust. They also provided very good customer service and replied messages very quickly.

Excellent Product
I've got to say these have worked great for me. I have problems with chronic tendonitis and after a while drumming had problems keeping hold of the sticks consistently. These have really helped and would recommend to anyone having the same issues.

Not For Serious Players
If you think you need these ask your self if you have ever seen any decent big name drummers use these? Answer, no. These are really only for beginners or hobby drummers. If you need these your technique is bad and ironically they will not improve your technique so they will get beginners in to bad habits and hobby drummers will not improve. If you want to be a good drummer then don't buy these they're a gimmick, do some practice on your technique instead it costs nothing except a little time and effort.

Really quite pleased.
For reasons I don't fully comprehend I was having real issues maintaining a grip on the stick in my left hand whilst playing the hi-hat open-handed. This item has fully solved that issue and actually means you can play with a looser and more comfortable grip. They may not look very 'rock & roll', but then neither does flinging a drum stick into the guitarist's head.
