This was my first ever tamagotchi purchase and naturally I went for the newest release, there are some obvious issues with this device but I’ll get into those a little later.Positive part of the review;This tamagotchi is a perfect little device for virtual pet lovers, it’s cute and has quite a few little features that really make the experience enjoyable, I’ve had the device for a few days now and have been non stop checking on my little tama.They go to bed at a good time and wake at a good time too, you can send your tama to the sitter if you’ll be busy with school / work or other things, you must pick your tama up before 6pm otherwise they’ll be upset with you.My issues with this tamagotchi;This tamagotchi came scratched straight out of the box, upon googling it appears most if not all of the tamagotchi uni devices come scratched lightly. the battery life is not that great, I have to charge it everyday sometimes twice. the plastic doesn’t feel all that great either.Overall it is a fantastic device and would recommend, personally I would wait for them to be cheaper on a sale but that is really up to you on what you value the tamagotchis.

My first ever tamagotchi and absolutely love it! My boyfriend introduced me to them since he found them quite nostalgic and I got absolutely hooked. The battery life is quite long, I charge them once a week. They're super easy to use and navigate and they come in multiple languages you can select at the start. I've been using mine for around half a year and have not noticed much of a hit on the battery life and with a case they're really durable! Just watch out for the screens since they scratch quite easily. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking into getting into tamagotchis or is already into them!

I was SO happy to find a Uni for a decent price on Amazon UK. They were all sold out in the US. They shipped it to me overseas. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Very happy with my purchase. Mametchi agrees! xD

A nice gift for one of our daughters. She soon picked it up and got to grips with it, despite being only 6.She soon knew all the settings, modes, menus and how to look after the 'pet'. It has been something she regularly checks to ensure it has been fed, is happy and checks the social updates etc.Graphics are pretty good, the display is nice and you have several different rooms. The pet seems to start as an egg, grow up, have a best friend, then marry and then have a new egg. The cycle then seems to repeat.Battery life seems to last a week or so between charges.Sometimes there could be a bit of anxiety should the pet be left at a relatives house or when daughter has been at school and not fed the pet in the morning for example.Saying that it seems very forgiving so we've not had any tears yet.Alternative strap purchased which can be worn around the neck is a much better solution compared to the wrist strap.For me the graphics are a little small. Buttons are also small and spongy but work well enough.Daughter is happy. So a good pressie.

Having had an original Tamagotchi back when they were first popular, I had wanted a Uni for a while. I bought one on a whim on a Black Friday deal and after a week of using, haven't been disappointed. Great fun to play, easy to use, not too demanding and plenty to do. Awesome update to a classic.

Bought one. Screen started showing black streaks within 24hrs. Replaced it and it didn’t even turn on. Returned and refunded, and now the price has gone back up so won’t be getting another one.
