This has been a very useful training aid for me. I have been using it every day for two months at my home practice area. Unlike most training aids - which get shelved after a couple of uses - this one has staying power. It provides excellent tactile feedback on when to begin transition, and prevents me from "collapsing" at the top. When I'm taking full swings at home, I nearly always have it on. Definitely worth the modest price you'll pay for it.

Works well help with back and down swing

I am genetically challenged at golf. In fact all my family is. None of us have a good consistent swing. I saw this and asked Amazon to review it.This golf swing trainer is a solid piece of plastic that has a Velcro strap that connects it to your arm. You put it on your arm and slide it up to just above the elbow. If you put it on correctly the lettering will be upside down. The Velcro strap is easy to adjust. If someone had a really big arm I wonder if it would fit. Since I don’t have that problem, it fits perfectly.In golf, what works for one person may not work for someone else. I find this very helpful in correcting my overswing and also in keeping my left arm straight on the down swing (I am right-handed). I find the trainer to be very comfortable. Also you need to learn to ignore people who are wondering what you are wearing.Almost from the beginning this has helped my swing. Unfortunately, I can’t wear this while I am playing a game. I wish I could. I know that everyone tells me that by using this all the time I will get muscle memory and eventually I will get better. However, I just seem to forget everything I learn once I am taking that backswing. I really think this trainer will make me better, but it is going to take a lot of practice.There are no instructions in the box that the trainer comes in. However, there is a very good video on the webpage. It’s a simple device, but it has a lot of potential.

The mistake that all of these other reviews are making is that they think this is just for beginners because it prevents them from over swinging. In reality, the ‘secret’ of this device is being able to hold on to that 90 degree angle on the downswing until your Club passes your waist. It gets rid of casting and the over the top swing. I have a tendency to overbend my trail arm in the back swing and this helps me to get the feel of when to stop going back and start the downswing. It's easy to use and effective.

After couple of swing with this swing trainer, I can feel the different of shoulder turn & not the arms lifting...love it.Good quality, light weight 👍

My husband thought he'd get a lot of use out of this but he rarely uses it. Instead he later bought a projector golf simulator thing which he finds much more useful/helpful and fun. TBO, I'm not a golfer and the long description he gave me of what this is supposed to do just didn't click, so I can't describe it. Instead, I'm giving you the outside perspective of seeing what he actually uses and it's not this.
