The scale is unbelievably responsive—unlike cheaper scales, it has an instantaneous response time when you place something on it. It also stays on for longer than other scales. I haven't timed it, but it won't shut off for a while. I also enjoy the capacity; 2500g (5.5 lbs) is more than enough for most cooking applications, but if you cook or bake in large batches, the capacity might be a little low. I love the brew assist as well. I could do the math myself if I wanted a, say, 1:15 ratio, but for folks whose multiplication skills are lacking (or for lazy people who don't want to have a calculator), this scale makes the task very, very easy. This is probably the only scale I will own for a very long time. I don't do espresso, but I know that this won't function as an espresso scale because of its size. But for all other coffee applications, I think it's one of the best on the market. You definitely are getting what you pay for.

Love the Coffee assist mode for easy calculation of coffee ratios. Makes dialing in the ratio so easy without having to pull out a calculator. Add in the built in timer, and it as everything you need. Great build quality and it looks nice as well.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is the best coffee scale I've used, once you get used to the bells and whistles. With Brew Assist, you can just turn the power knob to set the ratio of water to coffee that you prefer for your pour over. It is nice to just see how many grams of water to add without having to ask Alexa, "what is 16 times 23" for the 78th time.

Best scale I've ever purchased. I had a halo before that finally but the first after years of travel. This scale is much more precise. And it just feels better made. Maybe not worth the money for some who could settle for less but if your looking for that prefect scale to match your fellow gooseneck kettle for pour overs look no further.

Fellow's Tally Pro scale is a beautifully made scale with a modern and sleek look. The materials are all high quality and the scale is a tactile delight to use with solid feeling buttons and knobs. The OLED display is large, sharp, and bright. The scale adjusts its reading nearly instantly to minute additions / subtractions of grounds / liquids. The readings are accurate. Truth be told I had a very accurate scale before that worked just fine. I only bought the Fellow because I wanted a scale that felt and looked as precise and well made as my Breville Espresso Pro. The Fellow hits all the boxes and is a delight to use. All in all... expensive, but worth it.

I have been using Chemex for 5 years and this scale has made my morning brew a pleasure. I always try different coffee beans, currently Kona Earth from Hawaii. I grind my beans with Comandante hand burr grinder and different beans have varied densities. I do change the grams and grind frequently and this scale makes it simple. I brew 1:15 and this always shows me exactly how many grams of water to use in my pore over. I could not be happier with my purchase!

Responsive compared to alternative scales. But the surface of the scale seems to have a bit of a mark despite trying to clean them off. A little disappointed because it is very noticeable under light

Great to use was going to keep it then it wouldn't switch on after I plugged it in to charge so it broke on the first day. Make sure you test plugging in the first day you get it.

Quality and precision. Worth the cost.

Really nice scale with precision and responsiveness like no other. However, I can’t justify the price of it compared to others that offer almost the same quality at a third of the price.
