Excellent cedar bird houses
We just installed a cedar plank fence which borders our wildflower meadow. We ordered 10 of these cedar birdhouses to mount onto the posts of the fence. My husband put all 10 together in a couple of hours and said they were very easy to assemble. They look really adorable on the fence and match the cedar perfectly. Since we have decided to extend the fence, we just ordered another 6 birdhouses. The clean out looks very easy to use and the latches are good quality. They also reinforce the hole so the pesky squirrels can't chew through. It's a great value for the money.

A very beautiful bluebird box!
This bluebird box is one of the best items I have ever bought in my 76 years. I ordered it on Wednesday, was delivered on Thursday, assembled and installed it on the same day and on Friday morning Mr. and Mrs. Bluebird moved in. They have spent the whole day transporting nesting materials into this fantastic home made out of cedar. Very easy to assemble - a phillips screw driver with screws is provided which is allyou need. All screw holes have been pre drilled and everything fits perfectly. The latch is already attached and works like a charm. Whoever makes these bluebird boxes has to be a master craftsman!!

Wonderful little birdhouses!
These little birdhouses are perfect! I bought them because I did a little research and found that Eastern Bluebirds and Carolina Wrens are prodigious spider-eaters, and I am an arachnophobe living in the woods (don't ask). The houses were nicely packed and easy to assemble (especially when you get your husband to do it), with pre-drilled holes that made them convenient to install on high fence posts. They're built exactly to specs for wrens, bluebirds, finches, and other small birds, and that's just what they attracted. Within hours, several small birds were checking out the real estate. By the second day, after some territorial squabbling, which the bluebirds won handily, both houses were occupied. Initially I was just looking for some free exterminators, but a bonus is that we've had ringside seats to some of the most interesting and adorable courtship and nesting rituals. The male woos the female by strutting around with nesting materials in his beak until she notices, then helps her build the nest, occasionally bringing more nesting material, but mostly doing the heavy looking on. When it's done he leaves the little lady at home to feather her nest, as it were, and goes off to get a beer with the guys. We're used to seeing (and hearing!) the bigger birds in our yard - owls, hawks, pilliated woodpeckers, etc. - but I never realized that these pretty little meat-eaters were every bit as fascinating.I'm going to get two more houses to give the Carolina wrens another chance to move into the neighborhood, and if you're thinking of getting one or two, you can't go wrong with these.

Nice houses.
Seems like a decent birdhouse for the money. Easy to assemble and the included Philips screwdriver is actually a decent tool. Only downside is the critter deterrent at the entrance needs to be at least 3/4 of an inch thick to help keep snakes out.

Nicely designed and easy to assemble
I ordered the birdhouse two pack and am impressed with their quality. They are very easy to assemble, seem to be sturdy, and are well designed, with internal drainage and a front that can be opened for cleaning. Our previous birdhouse lacked both of these features. There was no odor from the wood, as reported by others. Because the adult bluebirds that nested our old birdhouse liked to frequently peek their heads inside to check on their babies in between searching for food, I added a small dowel for a perch, as shown in the picture. I hope that our feathered friends like these birdhouses as much as we do. I will update my review if any feathered friends move in.

Great Birdhouses
Very well made, easy to assemble, looks great in our yard. We put them up a couple of months ago and now we have a nesting bluebird in one on them. Very good value for the cost.
