Women’s Babett Boots

These boots are perfect in every way. I have always been a fan of Ecco. These boots are light and warm. I bought them for a week's trip to Belgium and they did really well from 4 to -4 degrees. They don't get very hot but keep your feet perfectly warm. I walked in them a lot too and experienced no back pains whatsoever- this is usually an issue for me as I had a back injury some years back. I cannot fault Ecco - I love their shoes/boots. Money well spent!

I've just bought a second pair of these, having worn my current pair through 3 winters. They are reliably waterproof, warm and comfortable - and I do a lot of urban walking. I'm about size 5.5, so size 6 is big enough to allow for an extra pair of socks when it's very cold, but they are still comfortable with only one pair of socks. The inside of the boot is quite deep and wide so it doesn't pinch your toes if you have wide feet or a high arch, and the sole is very supportive. They feel comfortable/supportive like a walking boot, but are not chunky to look at.

These boots look good and the size is accurate but that is all. The insole has an uncomfortable hump in the middle, like some unwanted orthotic. If the boots are supposed to be orthotics, the advert should say so.

I loved these boots comfortable and lightweight. Unfortunately I didn’t keep them as they squeaked when I walked. Had to send them back 😢

Why aren’t they still available

These are very comfortable and look good too. Wow then on snowy day and they don't slip.

These lightweight GorTex boots are just what I wanted. I hope that they live up to the usual high standard I have come to expect from Ecco. I’ve not worn them yet as they are for cold wet weather so can’t comment on how comfortable they are for all day wear standing in cold hard stone, but they appear to tick all the boxes I require. Time will tell.
