Just like the original game pieces
I was blown away how these rats look and fell just like they could be the original game pieces. They substitute into the game without any doubts that they belong there. So long robber! As far as gameplay goes, these rats are a fun addition to Catan. They introduce a whole new world of gameplay ideas and strategy. My game group has only just started to introduce these into our gameplay, but they have already created some really fun scenarios. I can't wait to add some more Tabletop Monthly custom game pieces to my collection.

Tiny Rats, 5/16 inch tall.
I have made four or five other purchases from Tabletop Monthly, and until now, I had not been terribly disappointed although the graphics on some of their game tiles are misaligned. This time, however, the tiny rats that accompany the instruction card for "The Rat Thief Scenario" are too small, only 5/16 of an inch tall, and each rat appears to be three or four thin rats stuck together to make one fat rat. The scenario is playable, and the instruction card is reasonable quality; it is a plastic-coated card the size of most poker cards. The card alone, however, is not worth the $10.00 cost for the scenario. UPDATE: I have added some photos. The Rat Thief is a fun scenario; I'm just disappointed with the Rat figures that are included.

Game card is paper
Disappointed that the instruction card is literally a piece of photo copy paper. Not even laminated… I was expecting it to be like the disasters and plagues card or longest road , more heavy duty.
