A Timeless Classic – Perfect Vinyl Edition!
I absolutely love this Fleetwood Mac vinyl! As a longtime fan of their music, I was thrilled to add this to my collection. The sound quality is incredible, with clear and rich tones that really bring out the depth of their iconic tracks. The vinyl itself is sturdy, well-pressed, and plays smoothly with no skips or pops. The album cover is beautiful—it’s visually stunning and adds such a great aesthetic to my collection. The artwork really captures the spirit of Fleetwood Mac, making this vinyl not only a joy to listen to but also a wonderful piece to display.Whether you're a long-time Fleetwood Mac fan or a new listener, this vinyl is a must-have. It has such a nostalgic, warm feel when played, and it’s truly the best way to experience their music.Highly recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy their classic albums in the best format possible!

One of the Best
Bought as a replacement for the original album damaged in a flood. Possibly one of the best latter-day F Mac albums. Having followed the band from their early days with Peter Green, Christine Perfect to the Anglo American with Stevie Nicks. All the tracks are very good and makes great listening. Two tracks, The Chain and Songbird are outstanding.

Rumours 35th anniversary single CD is a re-release of the 2004 remaster and sounds great
If you are thinking of updating your version of Rumours or buying it for the first time, read on. Significantly, there is no indication on the CD packaging of the single disc 35th-anniversary version of Rumours that it’s remastered, nor a special edition. However, after a simple search on the internet for the album’s SKU (8122796778), I can confirm that the CD is a 2004 remaster, reissued in 2013, but good luck finding that information on the cover. You will immediately hear the difference if you own a previous version of Rumours. It sounds excellent to my non-musical ears, with the bonus of hearing instruments and energy barely audible on the older version. It’s important to note that the 2004 remastered/2013 reissued version of Rumours does not include the extra Silver Springs track. If you want that additional song, you can purchase the 35th anniversary, deluxe edition, 3 CD digipack. However, if you only want the original version remastered, this single CD 35th-anniversary edition is a bargain. If you have never listened to Rumours before, you are in for a treat. It still sits within the top ten biggest-selling albums of all time for a reason – it is excellent from start to finish, a rarity in today’s world.Edit - updated 12/04/24 I can confirm there are some slight changes to the 2013 re-release of the 2004 remastered version CD of Rumours SKU (8122796778). There are subtle instrumental edits in some of the songs I didn't pick up on the first few listens. If you've never heard Rumours before you won't know any different. However, I have gone back to listening to my non-remastered version CD which has the following SKU (7599-27213-2). This is the version I'm more familar with and is more pleasing to me overall.

A classic melodic album that will sound awfully familiar the first time you here it! The ultimate folk rock chill out album!
As an ageing metal head searching for something new, I've started looking back at classic rock albums as I basically own every metal classic I can think of, and let's face it, there's very little to look forward to in new rock music, I decided to take a chance on this celebrated classic.Admittedly, apart from knowing that they penned 'THAT Formula 1 racing tune' ('The Chain's' outro) I had very little knowledge about Fleetwood Mac and their music, listening to this album for the first time in its entirety gave me many 'oh, so it's them that wrote this song!?' moments. The story of the band during this tumultuous period is well documented, but for anyone who doesn't know - they were all basically in relationships with other band members and all those romances were turning very sour...so they wrote songs about it and each other - often turning nasty (read the lyrics!), which ended up with this fantastic album!'Second Hand News,' 'Dreams,' 'Go Your Own Way,' and so on basically reads like a Greatest Hits set list and you've no doubt heard many times on the radio. Musically, melody reigns supreme here, that being said the use of guitars is excellent, whilst never really drawing attention away from the vocals, your ears will tell they really know what they're doing. If I had to put 'Rumours' in any genre it would basically be folk rock with many pop and country influences. One thing that amazed me about this album is how quickly it seems to end! Despite clocking in at a fairly standard and reasonable 40 minutes - it flies by, I must be having fun! It's a great chill out album whilst also being a great album on the road as well.No complaints at all, the production is great without being too artificial, the cover art is very unique and the lyric books contain all the lyrics, all bases covered.

A classic album then, and a classic album now
I bought this remaster to replace the original CD which I bought many years ago when CDs first came out, which, in turn, had replaced the vinyl version which I had bought many years before, not long after it had first been released. It was a classic album then, and it's a classic album now, that I and many others are still listening to. The remaster sounds fine to my 60+ year old ears, but as I didn't find fault with the previous issue, I bought it because I thought I ought to have it. As I said, a classic album then, and a classic album now.
