I bought these for my kids in grade school. They are exactly what I wanted, but I'm not sure they are for everyone. They are pretty small. I like that they are lightweight. They have a soft padding underneath that seems like it's filled with bean bags filling. It also has a nice little handle to carry it. I like the slot to put a pencil or pen, but sometimes the kids try to write over it. I have to remind them not to do that. We don't use them for laptops. We just use them for doing homework or just a hard surface to write on. So, I'm not sure how they do with heat. But these are perfect for our purposes. I even bought one to put in my car, for when I need to write something. I would recommend if you're looking for something small, lightweight and simple. They are great for kids

I was afraid that this would be a flimsy lap desk. It isn't. It's perfect. I used to have a very simple folding lapdesk that was very light and was perfect to take everywhere. Fit into my suitcase on travel. Very little extra weight at all. Then they stopped making it. This is the first one that is perfect for me. It is light, has a nice cushioning, perfect for watching tv while I check my email etc. It will be great for travel and anywhere I need it. Thanks so much!!!!

I wanted something to put my laptop on when I’m not sitting at my desk or table. This does the trick for as little as it cost. The top has a slippery base to it but it holds my 13” laptop into place. A 15” laptop would fit perfectly. I also polish my nails on it if I’m laying in bed. The downside is there is little cushion. It’s not padding. It feels like small styrofoam balls are inside. They wiggle around & do not make the bottom a solid cushion. It still works for me despite this. I feel the descriptive pictures are a bit deceiving though. In knowing this I do recommend. I’ve had this for 3 years & it’s held up very well. The price is about $1.50 more which I feel is still very reasonable for what you get. I hope my pictures reflect how well my laptop sits on it as I’m sitting on a floor cushion chair.

This is easy to use. It looks good. I love the pen holder. The quality is decent no storage capacity none it’s nicely on the lap

I have a small laptop PC (12.5" display). I don't like my legs cooking while using the laptop ON MY LAP. This lap desk is just what I was looking for. Perfectly sized for the small PC. Light, basic, sturdy. I like that there is no lip at the bottom of the desk area. The elevation off my legs is slight, which is good. Too high and you find yourself typing at an uncomfortable angle. This was the only lap desk I found that had the features I wanted and didn't have the features I didn't want (fans, USB ports, bigger size). As a bonus, there is a small cloth handle at the back top for convenience in carrying. I am happy with this purchase.

I have a huge lap desk for my laptop which allows me to use a mouse; however, it hits the arms on my new recliner. I was worried it would eventually leave rub marks in the fabric. So, I went on the hunt for something smaller. This lap desk is really child size - to describe it best. My 15.6" laptop works with this, because the rubber feet sit on the plastic desktop - but the sides extend maybe 1/2" on either side. Front to back, it fits exactly. That's okay, because now I fit neatly between the arms on my recliner. The two beanbag pads form nicely to my legs, so the lapdesk is very comfortable. My other lapdesk has a hard foam pad underneath that doesn't conform to my legs. It isn't objectionable, but I like this better! There are also two baffles which leaves room for air between them. I know this will be nice in the warmer months. The top material on this desk is molded plastic. I was expecting wood from the photo. I also expected it to be light blue. "Alaskan Blue" is not at all as pictured. It is a dark baby blue, almost turquoise. Overall, for under $10, I have zero complaints. I don't even care about the color. You can't see it under my laptop, and this will be so useful for more than just the computer. I'm happy with this, and I'd recommend this if you need a comfortable hard/flat surface for your lap.

Got for 3 yr old granddaughter who loves to draw. it's perfect. Light weight so she can carry it around. Sturdy so she can't break it when she decides to stand on it or slap it on a table. She draws on the hard plastic it self, but this is fine cause it mostly comes off ( some markers stain, but pencil, pen, & crayon come right off). The pencil holder at the top is perfect for little hands to keep from losing pencils and crayons. I have not used it myself as a lap desk, but it seems like it would be decently comfy. Has enough padding that you shouldn't be uncomfortable, but not so much that it doesn't have the give to shift it in to the position you want/need. Nifty little lap desk for good price.
