Demarini Vexxum-5 Baseball Bat

This was purchased for my son who has been using a wooden bat for two years now. He seems to really like it. His coaches looked it over and thought it was nice. At this point, he's only had it in the batting cages for about 4 hours.

This is another very solid two piece DeMarini bat legal for Babe Ruth due to its two piece composite handle/alloy barrel. This swings a little heavier than you would think because the weight is somewhat end loaded rather than balanced like the VooDoo or CF5. The end result is it takes a while to get used to if you are moving up from a lighter bat. However, once you can turn on it this thing will rip the ball another 20-30 feet. The other bonus is that by using a end loaded bat with a heavier feel making the transition to BBCOR (-3 oz.) is much easier.
