outstanding product that I highly recommend
I recently acquired the EF ECOFLOW Portable Power Station DELTA 2 Max and it has been nothing short of a game-changer for my sailboat maintenance and outdoor adventures. As an individual who frequently works on a sailboat, the need for a reliable, robust power source is paramount, and this power station has exceeded all my expectations. Firstly, its impressive 2400W output and 2048Wh capacity have been instrumental in running a variety of equipment. From power tools essential for boat repairs to lighting that extends my working hours, it handles everything with ease. Moreover, I’ve even used it to power a small heater, which speaks volumes about its versatility and power. The rapid charging feature is another highlight. Being able to fully charge the power station in just about an hour is incredible, especially when time is of the essence. This feature has saved me a lot of time and hassle, allowing me to focus more on my work and less on power management. Its portability is a huge advantage. Despite its high power output, it’s compact enough to be carried around easily, which is crucial for someone who is constantly moving around on a sailboat or outdoors. Lastly, the durability and build quality are top-notch, ensuring that this power station can withstand the challenging marine environment. It feels robust and reliable, which is essential for any equipment used in such settings. In conclusion, the EF ECOFLOW Portable Power Station DELTA 2 Max is an outstanding product that I highly recommend. It’s a perfect fit for anyone in need of a powerful, fast-charging, and durable power source for outdoor activities or marine use. A solid 5-star rating from me!

Minimum Useful Power Station Size
The Delta 2 max is a good mix of battery capacity and size/weight. I like Ecoflow power stations. They have close to their stated capacity, charge fast, and have their rated output. This is a self contained system of charger, batteries, solar MPPT, and 120vac inverter. For a small camper or van setup this is the way to go rather than separate pieces. Pair it with the vehicle charger and it will charge quickly. This unit has 2 solar inputs and when paired with a couple of hundred watts of solar can keep a portable refrigerator going forever. It also has 2 DC battery to battery connections. This means that it can run a Wave2 or expansion battery while being charged by the vehicle charger. The Delta 2 Max is the smallest useful size to have in practical terms (2000w hrs) for home power outages or camping. I have a River 3 and that is only good for charging a tablet/cell phones etc. Small, but kind of a joke. I also have a Delta 3 which is half the capacity. The Delta 3 is at least big enough and has enough features to be useful, but struggles with powering an Iceco VL72 trying to cool down drinks and food after shopping. Think of 1000w hrs as power to cook breakfast electrically. In a power outage, a 2200w inverter generator could keep a couple of Delta 2 Max charged and your refrigerator/freezers cold.

Powerful, Fast, and Amazingly Well-Built
I just received the DELTA 2 Max, and right out of the box it made a strong impression. The charging speed is the first thing that stood out to me. When I plugged it in for the first time, the percentage jumped so quickly that I actually double-checked the display. Getting to 80% in under an hour is not an exaggeration — it really does it. The overall build quality feels premium. The LFP battery chemistry was a major reason I chose this model, and even as a new owner, you can tell it’s designed for long-term durability. It gives a sense of confidence that you’re not buying something that will fade out after a handful of uses. I immediately tested it with several of my own devices — my computer setup, my monitor, some studio gear, a few household items — and it handled everything without even blinking. Seeing it push out clean power to multiple things at once reassures you that the 2400W rating is not just theory. The number of outlets also makes it practical; I never felt limited or cramped trying to plug in several items at the same time. The quiet operation is another pleasant surprise. When it’s charging, it’s barely noticeable. I had it sitting a few feet away, and it never became a distraction. The expandable capacity is also a smart feature. Even though I haven’t added extra batteries yet, just knowing that I can turn this into a much larger backup system if needed is a big plus. Overall, as a new owner, everything about this unit feels solid, fast, thoughtfully designed, and genuinely capable. It delivers exactly what I hoped for when I ordered it.

Reliable powerhouse for home backup and outdoor use
I recently added the EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max to my emergency kit and it’s quickly become the go-to power source for everything from camping trips to unexpected outages. The charging speed is impressive — it goes from empty to usable very fast — and it powered multiple devices at once without hiccups. The build feels rugged and reliable, and the display/app give clear info on usage and time remaining. For the price and versatility, it’s been a standout upgrade to my gear.

The EcoFlow Delta 2 Max is outstanding. It is attractive, lightweight, and has a simple intuitive layout of switches and power inputs and outlets. The internal 1800 watt charger is also a game changer. You don't need to lug around an external charging brick and you can recharge the Delta 2 Max in a little over an hour. And the internal fans are quiet. After a couple of weeks of being shutdown, the Delta 2 Max still retained a state of charge of 100% - there appears to be little or no power loss when it is being stored. The app is intuitive and very easy to use. I bought the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max to power my ICECO VL90 ProD Fridge/Freezer. After 24 hours of running both sides of the ICECO as a fridge, the state of charge had only dropped to 78%. At this rate of power consumption., the EcoFlow would be able to power the fridge for 4.5 days. This is a huge improvement over the Bluetti AC200Max that I had purchased (and returned) last year. The state of charge in the Bluetti had dropped to 58% after 24 hours - implying only a 2.4 day runtime. The internal power consumption of the Bluetti AC200Max under no load was almost 1% per hour, which is exorbitant. Additionally, the Bluetti was supplied with a large external 200 watt charger. The Bluetti required about 10 hours to fully recharge, as compared to the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max which requires a little over an hour to fully recharge using its built-in 1800 watt charger. So, if you are looking for a lightweight, compact, quick charging, and easy to use power station that has the ability to power a lower wattage device over several days, the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max is the perfect choice.

I bought the Delta 2 Max as a start to having a solution to keep the necessities in my home running during outages. Since I bought it, I haven't had any outages, but I did test it with several of my home appliances. It ran my mini-fridge (80W) for 53 hours, and my big stand-up freezer (130W) for 26 hours. That's about double what you might calculate (and what the Ecoflow says on the screen when you first plug the appliances in), but that's because fridges and freezers don't have to run constantly - they kick in and out to keep cool as needed. Next I'm going to test it on my regular fridge, but I assume that will be similar to the freezer. That type of runtime will probably do me for most of the outages we get around here! Of course, if I tried to run all of these appliances at the same time, the Delta 2 Max wouldn't last long, so I'll have to try to gauge how long I think the outage is going to be, and prioritize what to power! I am also considering using the Delta 2 Max as an EPS - keeping the fridge plugged into it, so that when the power goes out I don't have to worry about my food getting spoiled if I'm not home. I hope to add a Smart Generator and/or maybe some solar panels to my set-up so that I can keep the Delta 2 Max charged during an extended outage. I found the device easy to set up, easy to use, and it seems to work very well. I love the app for "geeking out" on power draws and things like that. After draining it on my appliance tests, it charged up again ridiculously fast for such a big battery. That's quite amazing. Also, it is much lighter than its competitors with similar power, which is important for me as I'm a smaller person. Even so, I find it difficult to move around at about 50 lbs. I contacted customer support with a question and they responded right away, but it was just a quick, "We're sending your email on to the correct department". It took 6 days to get an actual answer. So, that's not super responsive, but at least they did get back to me. I guess that might be a symptom of dealing with a smaller company who doesn't have a large team dedicated to answering questions, although I'm actually not sure exactly how big the company is. All in all, I'm very happy with the Delta 2 Max, and I'm almost looking forward to my first winter outage this year so I can pat myself on the back for being prepared!

Ecoflow has done it again: make my life easier as a caregiver. This time, the game changer is their Delta 2 Max power station. I’ll leave it to others to figure out and pinpoint the technical pros and cons of this device. All I can say is that for me, being able to generate electricity when needed is deeply reassuring and helpful. I am amazed by Ecoflow’s user-friendly ecosystem and forever grateful to them for helping me sleep better at night. Indeed, knowing that my power stations, smart extra battery and solar panels will help me take good care of my 93-year-old mother, who has dementia and who cannot walk anymore, is priceless. After reading extensively about Delta 2 Max and its LFP battery chemistry, deciding to upgrade to this device was a no-brainer. Also, the fact that a smart extra battery could double its capacity up to over 4kWh was a determining factor. Add to these latest acquisitions two previously bought Delta 2, two 160 W portable solar panels and one 220 W bifacial panel (renewable energy now strikes me as pure magic), and we’re all set to face the next challenge. We are blessed to live in a region safe from natural disasters, but power failures do happen - a disturbing thought in light of my mother’s condition. In fact, just recently we were out of power for five days but we managed just fine thanks to our EF products. Although I was able to recharge my power stations twice a day thanks to our town’s generators and to friends who had power, I figured we still needed to be more self-sufficient, hence the purchase of a Delta 2 Max and of a Delta Max Smart Battery following that power failure. Those extra 4000 W give me huge peace of mind. I can envision how much easier managing through the next blackout will be, knowing that our new equipment will give us greater leeway while increasing intervals between recharges. Mind you, our pair of Delta 2’s were incredibly useful during those five days without electricity, as they powered my mother’s lift, hospital bed and mattress. I could also warm some water to wash her in the morning. They powered our full-size fridge and 5.5 cu. ft. chest freezer, as well as the sump pump when needed. Router, microwave, coffee machine, cell phone, laptop, IPad, DVD player, lights, radio… bring it on ! As I am writing this review, we in Canada are on track for our worst-ever wildfire season, including northern Quebec. Although we live in Montreal, hundreds of miles away, some of these fires resulted in loss of electricity for tens of thousands of people in our city. There is no such thing as avoiding natural disasters’ impacts anymore and that is why you can never be too prepared. What about Delta 2 Max’s lifespan of 3000 complete cycles until it reduces to 80% capacity ? this amazing durability is definitely impacting the way I am using it, for it is not only about being ready to handle potential emergencies anymore. Some days I just enjoy making good use of it by living partially off the grid. I’ve even reorganized the kitchen in order to make it more accessible when cooking, amongst other things. Owning two Delta 2’s plus a Delta 2 Max seems to perfectly meet our needs, offering us a great mix between portability (Delta 2) and power (Delta 2 Max and an extra battery). In fact, being able to rely on such extra power definitely feels like we’ve reached the big leagues. It’s a great feeling.
