Captured nocturnal seizure pattern and alerted in time for rescue meds!
My son was recently diagnosed with seizures. While waiting for a seizure specific monitoring device to arrive, we purchased this to monitor increases in heart rate and drops in O2. Within a week of using, the ring accurately reported and alerted to changes in my son’s vitals while he was sleeping and allowed us to get to him as the seizure was starting. THIS DEVICE ALLOWED ME TO GIVE MY SON THE CARE HE NEEDED, QUICKLY! I am so grateful that this technology exists and is available in a way that meets kids needs! Thank you Wearpulse! The device itself was a little uncomfortable on my kiddo (age 7), but we ended up putting it onto his pinky finger and using satin tape and Coban tape to secure it (it’s a little loose on his pinky but a little too tight on his other fingers). I think it’s absolutely worth figuring out a way to make it comfortable for your child and believe that any device is difficult for a child to wear for long periods without a little discomfort. My only wish is that it came with some kind of attachment that could then be secured to a bracelet, but we can make it work without that. The only other downside is that it has a difficult time connecting to the phone app when the hand is tucked underneath a pillow or underneath the chest. Again, I think any device would struggle with that. I love that the device will alert via the ring AND the app for O2 & heart rate changes. And I also love that customized thresholds can be set based on the individual needs of the user.

Worked Well
This has been so helpful in monitoring my oxygen at night when I sleep. I had double pneumonia that took almost 9 months for my lungs to heal. I was on oxygen 4 months and have it on hand now. The alarm would wake me up at night letting me know my oxygen dropped below 90 so I could use the oxygen when needed. This is the child size as my fingers are old and small. However, on the down side., the band is like rubber and it broke in the middle of the bottom side as it is very thin so I now have a hard time keeping it on my finger. But, I used it nightly for a year. It keeps a nice log that I was able to show my doctor. I checked the accuracy with 2 finger oximeters that I have and it was 1% over which was easy to figure when keeping track. I would buy again. Just wish the band was stronger on the bottom of the band.

This device is useless
I am completely disappointed with this product. There are a number of issues with it and I will go over those I noticed here. 1) The finger unit will not hold a charge for longer then 5 hours which makes it completely impossible and useless to use for a continuous monitoring device 2) You cannot use the finger unit while charging so that option is out the window as well 3) The Bluetooth capability is pretty useless as well as you need to keep the phone within 10 feet of the finger unit for it to work 4) It goes offline all of the time (about 50% of the time it is running and with the phone a foot away from the finger unit, it goes offline and will stay offline for almost 15 minutes at a time Overall, I would not waste my money on this unit and would find something that works better.

Peace of Mind in a Tiny Package
As a parent of a child with a medical condition, restful sleep can feel like a distant memory. My son has a chromosomal disorder and experiences tonic-clonic seizures, which can cause significant drops in his oxygen levels and an erratic heart rate (anyone familiar with seizures knows the "blue lips" I'm talking about). We were constantly waking up throughout the night to check on him, anxious and exhausted. Then we discovered the Wearpulse KidsO2 Ring, and it's helped restore a bit of normalcy to our lives. Here's why this little ring has made a world of difference: Constant Monitoring: It continuously tracks his oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse rate while he sleeps, giving us real-time data on his well-being. Alerts and Peace of Mind: The ring and app both have customizable alarms that notify us if his oxygen levels drop below a certain threshold, or his heart rate becomes abnormal. This means we can finally get some sleep, knowing we'll be alerted if something is wrong. Comfortable and Kid-Friendly: The soft silicone ring is comfortable for him to wear. Seriously, I've tried it on my (admittedly not huge, but still) adult man hands, and it wasn't horribly tight, but was very secure. Easy to Use: The app is straightforward and easy to navigate. It displays the data clearly and allows us to track trends over time. Data for Doctors: We can even export the data to share with his doctors, giving them potential insights into his condition. Important Note: While this device has been incredibly helpful for us, it's important to remember that it's not TECHNICALLY a medical device, which the seller points out. Overall: The Wearpulse KidsO2 Ring has given us invaluable peace of mind and allowed us to get the rest we DESPERATELY need. If you have a child with a medical condition that affects their oxygen levels or heart rate, I highly recommend this device. It's easy to use, comfortable, and provides essential monitoring and alerts.
