Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos - Nintendo Switch

I’ve always loved the harvest moon series. I do find the beginning a little slow but I do love the open world concept that they are trying to get into. Overall a great game

I ordered it October 2nd and on October 7th it arrived, with the cute plush-cow, too! I've been having a lot of fun with the game. I love the graphics, it's very cozy and relaxing. The map is HUGE, the characters are simple but sweet, the animals are adorable and there's lots to do. My only little complaint is that the days are very short. Having unlocked Fast Travel & Mounts has helped but even at that, time flies right by. Other than that - absolutely great game!

I have played Harvest Moon since the 2000’s. I’ve always loved these games as well as Story of Seasons. This new addition brings features others lacks including 360 camera movement, faster loading screens, smart tool usage, lots of home storage from the start, ability to remove things from shipment box if accidentally added, quick crop maintenance by holding the action button, massive world, good storyline. All around I would say this is one of the greats of the series (Including SoS)

I haven't yet played the game but decided to review to say how I FINALLY received my copy and it did come with the pre-order plushie. Update: 11-30-23 So I've put about 60 hours into this game and I must say I've enjoyed it a lot. It is leaps and bounds ahead of the garbage Natsume first put out when it started to create its own version of the harvest moon games. However there are some small issues that still hold it back. The good things: The graphics are nice but not amazing or anything special. The gameplay is fun and there's a lot of areas to explore and items to find. The animals are also quite cute and you can pet all of them. The romance-able characters are all very well designed and there's enough variations between them that can make choosing a little tough. The bad: There are sometimes some lag spikes that are only fixed by saving and restarting the game. The days are WAY too short so it takes forever to do certain things. I find it odd that farming in this game makes very little money, you have to go fishing to pay for pretty much everything. There are some areas that are so maze like that it makes it irritating to explore since you don't get a map of the area until you fumble your way to the statue. In the mines the rocks fall on you almost every time you break a rock or dig in the ground. The ores in the mine are all mostly the same shades of color and you can only identify them after smacking them enough times that a piece breaks off. When you enter a building your character will turn around, then turn and open the door and walk in. While there are a lot of different crops to grow, only a handful of them are used for recipes/quests. The best tools are locked behind a pay wall. There are some times where the game won't respond (Such as running or opening the bag or map.) without jiggling the character around and then trying again. When placing fence around a field you have to place them one at a time and you have to be facing the correct direction or the fence will be put in the incorrect direction. Makes it so that placing large fences is a very boring and time consuming experience. There is a common occurrence of animals being on top of one another when in a crowded area. (such as your farm or in a fenced in area in towns) Npcs have very little to say so speaking to anyone is repetitive and boring. There's also a few grammatical errors. Overall though there's a lot of small issues going on with this game it is pretty fun to play and overall I have enjoyed it.

This game is so much fun. I bought it for my wife for Christmas but I ended up playing through the whole game and finishing the storyline. What’s funny is you never really finish. There will always be tasks to do or new plants to create or discover.

This is the best game. So much to do, so many places to explore. Relaxing to play

Fantastic game. Great open world concept for a farming game! That was a first for me. I loved that I could tame animals and add them to my farm. I loved the sprites that give me seeds and being able to find what seeds I wanted to on the map. And I loved the storyline. The only thing I wish would be that it would be easier to up the star levels in each town. The pace is glacial for that. Also I never received the cow plush that came with the preorder but from my understanding no one did.

Suchtgefahr sag ich nur. Nein, ein gelungenes spiel, sehr gute grafik. Wir spielen es gern, man kann einfach so erkunden aber auch nach story wie man möchte spielen.

Melhor Harvest Moon da atualidade, recomendo.
