It looks very cool, and it's comfortable.
This stool arrived in a flat box. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble it...and I was taking my time. It comes with a small wrench to help with the assembly. The wrench is small and awkward to use. I ended up using my ratchet wrench because it was much faster. The stool is very sturdy and comfortable. The top spins 360 degrees and it DOES NOT wobble! This stool looks very cool with its' shiny chrome legs and the red sparkle color on the seat. It reminds me of those old malt shops that featured colorful tables and chairs. It has added some pazzazz and character to my man cave. I'm glad I bought it. Get one and be happy. HERE'S A TIP for those who find that the outer foot ring is too large >>> When criss-crossing the two leg sections, the leg section that has a "flat spot" on it goes OVER the leg section that does NOT have a flat spot. Also, if the outer ring seems too large, simply use a little muscle to bend the chrome legs (widen them), before assembly. I agree that you really shouldn't have to be doing something like that. But, it does solve the problem. It's not a tough problem to solve.

I really don't know why there are so many whiners complaining.
This Fender 24 inch swivel type barstool is very nice and at a perfect height for me at 5'7" and 190 pounds. I really can't understand why people have been bitching about it. I liked it so much that I not only went and bought another one but I also bought one as a gift for a friend guitarist as well. He loves it and is a bit heavier than I am so it's gotten a test for sure. Simple to put together unless mentally/physically challenged. I got them all together and I'm a disabled vet so if I can do it and you can't well you have a serious issue. I've never sat on any barstool and thought,, well damn... this seat feels so good that I just want to lay across it and take a nap! lol If you don't like the padding then just go to Joann fabric and purchase thicker foam and install and restaple the cover back onto the stool. If I could locate other guitar and guitar part companies that had barstools like this I'd definitely buy a few but I've been unable at this time to find some. Does anyone know of any available from other companies? Hey, realistically,, just know that you're not getting something that you could lay across and go to sleep and it'll work fine for you. Here, I'm going to include an item that I use and like as well only this has a rear back pad and support. Plus it helps in keeping you from falling back which can easily occur on the guitar stools or any other type of stool. Sure you may pay a couple of bucks more but that shouldn't matter as the safety and comfort of it will be more than worth it. It's also very easy to put together but I don't know as so many people have complained that they couldn't get the damned 24 inch bar stool assembled without an issue. Get both of them and more if you can. It's all up to what you like for preferences. Great stool; Poor instructions
Was on the lookout for a sturdy, affordable guitar stool when I came across this blacked-out Fender 24-incher. It looks fantastic, materials are quality, and is comfortable. The foot ring may be a little high for my taste, but it works. The one glaring flaw with this stool lies in the instructions. They advise you to use the wrong screws at every step. They say to use the short screws to secure the foot ring to the stool legs... This is the thickest section of the stool parts you need to secure together. So only the LONGEST screws can be used there. As long as the parts aren't warped or missing, I think this is a good quality stool, just know the instructions are misprinted and takes a little ingenuity to figure it out.

Fantastic Stool but from second attempt.
Received my first stool that was obviously returned and damaged, leather was peeling off and had multiple punctures, the stapling of the seam was crooked and ugly and the box box contained no ususal candy Sweet Water known for, so yes Amazon tried to pull a fast one on me, after lenghty return process and contacting Sweet Water directly, i received a fantastic undamaged stoolvas a replacement with a candy bag inside and the stool has a very neat seam stapling too and appears to be a very high quality as expected from Fender brand, so if you get a damaged factory second or a returned / used product, blame Amazon not Fender nor Sweet Water.

Total CRAP. Surprised Fender Put Their Name On This Poor Product.
So disappointing! Seriously a piece of crap. Can't believe Fender actually put their good name on such a poor product. (Glad I didn't buy the more expensive taller version, sure it's the same poor quality. Directions are terrible but it's easy enough to figure out if your handy. Bolts and nuts strip almost immediately (and you really have to crank them down for the stool to be sturdy enough to sit on. Several holes didn't line up correctly which is always frustrating. When finally assembled noticed that the stool was uneven and wobbled (clearly one set on legs are cut to short). The top is nice design with the beloved Fender logo but even though it was wrapped in plastic it looked almost used (srratches and smears). Really not happy with this purchased, Amazon (Prime) was three days late delivering it and it's such poor quality. Save your money and look for another one made by someone else. Cause your experience can be exactly like mine. Was thinking about returning it but after I purchased new bolts and nuts and spent the time building it and don't want to go through the process of disassembling it (and shippingit back) I'll keep and everytime I sit on it and it wobbles it will remind how bad this product is!!!
