No the finger print reader is on the handle but very convenient

This is very cheap low security lock

Q: Do you get notifications when someone opens the door?

No. Its not connected to wifi hence you wont get any notification. But it does keep a log of all the access.

Q: Is emergency power back up connector type C or USB?

It's not type C. The port is for a USB Micro. Check video for clarity.
