Easier to work than white porcelain. Mixes really well with white porcelain marbling. Makes beautiful pieces.

Smooth black porcelain
Very beautiful and smooth black porcelain clay. I made a mask and it was gorgeous.

Laguna clay
Laguna porcelain cone 5/6 clay has an excellent texture. Easy to throw. Fires perfectly.

Food safe but Cracking Issues
Very pliable and workable. 100% food safe. Issues with it cracking during the “drying out phase” prior to the initial bisque firing, however. Tried Potter’s water to bind slab joints together but it proved difficult.

THIS CLAY IS GREY AND NOT BLACK!!!
it is not black, when fired at cone 6 it is grey and not black which is very disappointing. it was a not packaged in a plastic bag with a label stating SIO-2 BLACK ICE HIGH FIRE PORCELAIN CLAY. IT WAS AN UN,ARKED PLASTIC WRAP.
