Y-Strap Decompression Device

Great tool for a gentle stretch, as long as you have someone available to pull the tool for you. It securely grips your head with very minimal discomfort.Would I tug hard on it like the many chiropractor videos you see? Personally i’d advise against it. But for gentle traction this tool is hands down better than any other self administered apparatus for neck traction I’ve used.

I deal with tightness in my neck and visit the chiropractor every couple weeks. This is easy to use and not will it pop the occipal part of the neck, the stretching capability has reduced how many times I need to see a chiropractor.

The Y-Strap makes cervical traction adjustments must easier to perform! I have more control and more grip than when I used to use a towel. Patients love it! Highly recommend!!

The design is so flawed. Many recipients of this Y-strap product find the 1-7/8" wide strap uncomfortable around their necks. Get a Y-strap tool that is 2" wide. It's much more comfortable for the recipient.

I picked up this decompression strap with the hope of adding a new tool to my at-home wellness routine, specifically for gentle neck stretching with my partner. As someone who isn't a professional in physical therapy or chiropractic care, my use of this strap is limited to mild, reciprocated stretches with my partner to alleviate neck tension, rather than the more... "intensive" therapies you might find depicted in online videos. Given the risks, I would not recommend the at-home use of any decompression strap for that purpose.My interest in upgrading to this particular model was piqued when it became available through the Vine program, prompting me to set aside a knockoff version I had been using for the past few years. The promise of enhanced quality and effectiveness seemed like a worthwhile investment. However, after several uses, I've come to the conclusion that my older, less expensive knockoff actually offers better dimensions for my needs and overall feels like a higher quality product.This isn't to say the decompression strap is entirely without merit. It does provide the basic functionality it promises, and I can see it being a useful tool for those looking for a straightforward device for neck stretching. But when it comes down to value for money and overall satisfaction, I find myself leaning towards recommending that potential buyers consider less expensive brands. These alternatives, based on my experience, seem to offer a better blend of quality and effectiveness for everyday users who are not seeking professional-grade equipment but rather a simple aid for relief from neck discomfort.In summary, while this decompression strap is adequate for my gentle neck stretching routine, the comparison with my previous, less costly knockoff has been somewhat disappointing. If you're in the market for such a product, my advice would be to explore other options that may provide better value and quality, even if they come with a lower price tag.

It took a little getting used to the set up, and I had some apprehension about using it on my partner (as did she!), but we worked through it slowly and gently. She said she could feel it stretching and felt her neck coming back into alignment.She's a regular at the chiropractor. I doubt this will entirely replace that, but it's great even if it just gives a little tune up between visits for her.Only 4 stars because it is a bit nerve-wracking having your neck alignment in someone else's potentially non-professional or low-competence control. I could see that going wrong for some people.Overall, it is a pretty good product for me now that we've used it a couple of times and gotten used to it. It could also potentially save some money if one ended up needing fewer trips tp a chiropractor.

This is a great product for someone like me who has constant neck pain from feeling compressed.
