Golf Sim Cam For Close Range / Narrow Space
Overall very happy with this camera. I have very small space in front of me to install a camera. So literally this camera is about 4' in front of ball location. Its installed in pretty low lighting area and works great for my needs. Very pleased with it thus far.

Global Shutter I can’t go back
(The reviews saying it does not come with an IR filter on the lens had me worried but mine did in deed have an IR filter all colors look perfectly normal) The global shutter compared to switching from a 720/1080p older model ELP usb module with rolling shutter was a day and night difference no more image tearing at all. Overall I’m happy with this camera module I’m using it for a DIY project that requires a small camera that is easy to setup and install with the ability to change lenses to accommodate needs (Most any M12 lens will work) DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA IF YOU DON’T PLAN TO USE IT FOR A PROJECT THIS IS NOT A “Traditional Webcam Replacement” it can be used as one but these modules are for use cases where you need control over the whole assembly so do not buy this expecting to walk around taking selfies or pictures of your pets or even video calling it will work for it but for the price and convenience just buy a normal webcam with a case and mount unless you’re ready to start tinkering with 3D modeling and designing.

Kinda a scam unless youre outside and your cable doesnt move.
Usb end sometimes disconnects or causes fuzz, also this can only achieve like 70fps not 90 (while inside) fov is crazy high though! Love that

One of the best USB cameras I’ve seen
Using this for a robotics project. The global shutter + high FOV + close range was perfect. This is one of the best usb breadboard cameras I’ve used. (Though I still use arducams when I need a lens)

color + global shutter!
Good color picture and global shutter in same camera. Never tried it above 20 FPS though

Great for Teleconferencing for my classroom!
Having this mounted above my touchscreen display at the front of the classroom allows most of my students to be seen by the other party since some of their seats are close to the board but off to the side. I have a 3D printer and will make something a little more attractive to house it, but for now the mounting holes have sufficed to mount it to a piece of plastic corner bead I strung above the monitor. Since my application captures a larger area, I would prefer a 4K resolution. I have one of those cameras, but the angle of capture is not ideal for all of my situations either. As such, I can just switch between the two depending upon the situation. A 4K camera with a wide angle of capture would be ideal for my situation, but I do not want a fisheye lens. Lastly, between all of the different types, I can teach my students about field of view, frame rate, and resolution. If I use a fan, I can also teach about scan rate and how it affects capture of moving objects - especially since this camera has a superior capture rate.

Camera module for DIY projects , but may not have an infrared filter.
This is a camera module, not a complete webcam. It is a bare circuit board with a lens mounted to it and needs to be mounted into a suitable case. The module is just a camera, with no microphone. I was planning to 3D print a case for this camera, but noticed that the colors seemed odd when I tested it -- everything had a pink tint. I've included a side-by-side comparison of an image of my front yard captured with this camera module and another camera. I contacted the seller and they immediately shipped me two replacement cameras, one of the same model and another of a slightly different model. The identical camera had the same problem but the other one was fine. It turns out that there's a manufacturing issue where the factory used the wrong lens that is missing an infrared filter on that particular model. The seller is working to correct the issue and any new cameras sold should have the correct filter. Other than the filter issue, the picture quality is quite good. Images are very sharp. It's actually kind of cool to have a camera without an infrared filter if you're a photographer -- the pink cast is a bit annoying, but if you convert the image to black and white, the images are quite spectacular. I'm giving this a 4/5 rating because the seller was very responsive and I expect the manufacturing issue to be resolved quickly.

This 'camera' is not an actual functioning camera. It is just a USB cable attached to a poorly made object that resembles a camera, but has no ability to actually power on or connect to a computer.
