Powerful unit, works great.
Worked perfect to power my LED landscaping lights and the spot lights on my flag. I control it on and off with a home automation module. Fan is a bit noisy, but still going strong.

A very good upgrade for your 3D printer
Many years ago I bought an Anet A8 clone 3D printer, you know, the kind with the acrylic frame you have to completely assemble. This kit came with a 12v power supply which was, at best "adequate" for what is needed to power the printer. At a max of 235w, there's not a lot of headroom. Recently I upgraded the acrylic frame to extruded aluminum. I figured since I was doing that I'd also upgrade the old power supply. Looking through the Jungle site, I found this one. At 600w, it leaves me a lot of headroom so I can do a couple more upgrades to my printer which needs power. There's a couple of things you need to know about this specific power supply. The first thing you need to know is if you are upgrading from the original A8 clone is, the mounting holes are different. You'll need to either drill new holes in the acrylic mount or you need to print another mount if you're using extruded aluminum frame. When you first start up the power supply, you'll "burn" off the new and you'll smell it. It isn't that it's overheating, it just is what it is. I'll assume this will go away over time and after whatever chems they put on the parts evaporates from the power supply. Just one of those things. Make sure you measure the voltage coming out of the power supply. There is a pot (potentiometer - noted in the description) where you can adjust the voltage. I don't know if a "little extra" or "not quite enough" is going to cause you any issues, but since you have the ability to adjust it to nearly perfect, why not just take care of it. Mine came on at 12.48v. My first adjustment put it down to 11.7v and it was a just a little tweak. Don't get over zealous on it because it only takes VERY little adjustments to make the voltage move. When I was done I settled on 12.07v which I figured was close enough. One other little thing of note is the cooling fan in the power supply is a little noisy. Something you'll need to get used to. Overall, the power supply seems like a great upgrade. It works as described and is a reasonable price. I would recommend.

Perfect for my application.
Rock solid in holding voltage over specified range. Wish it had an on/off switch and better instructions on converting between 115/230 input voltages. I am conversant with these electrical matters but most aren't.

Inaccurate description and photos
I bought three of these and although both the description and photos showed that they come with the mounting brackets, there were none. Very irritating to have to wait again to complete a project. Buy another version that has accurate description.

Works perfectly
I originally purchased this to power some solenoids for automate some special effects for the pinball machine in a performance of "Time of Your Life". After the play was struck, I now use to power a 12 VDC pump for my rain barell drip irrigation systems.
