The only downside is that the mounting hole at the back is too shallow to sit flush on a standard wall hook; you’ll need to use a nail or a smaller hook instead.

This is a simple looking clock and works like a clock should. It was a little smaller than I had imagined, but that was my fault in not checking with a tape measure to see what 8" looked like. It is silent without the annoying ticking sound. It was easy to set the time and hang up on the wall.
