The Battle Spirits Saga Starter Set: Forbidden is a really solid deck, and you can feel the synergy in how it plays. The strategy comes together nicely, making it a fun deck to use whether you're new to the game or just looking for a pre-built option. Plus, the abundance of cores included is a nice bonus, ensuring you have plenty to work with right out of the box. One thing I appreciate is how the deck guides you toward a specific playstyle, making it easy to pick up and understand. However, if you’ve collected other cards, you can obviously make improvements and adjustments to better suit your strategy. You can see why this is called a starter set, but it does have a clear game plan built in. Like all card games, starter sets are designed to teach you the mechanics and give you a foundation to customize and upgrade as you see fit. That said, it’s a shame that the game has essentially died out, so these cards are now more for collectors or for those who still want to play casually without expecting new content from Bandai. The starter set itself is great, but my only real gripe is with the card quality. Over time, I’ve noticed that some of the corners start to bend slightly, possibly due to moisture in the air or other factors. I’ve seen this happen with other Bandai card games like One Piece as well, so it may just be a common issue. That said, I’m not sure if others have experienced this or if it’s just me. Despite that, this is still a great starter set to grab if you’re looking to get into Battle Spirits Saga or just want to try out the game for yourself. It’s a well-built deck, and while the game may not be getting new support, it’s still fun to play!

Things to know about this deck- Low Cost Aggression, Focuses on 2 cost spirits, magic focused, aggro in nature. Stand out cards in this deck- Calamity Beast Chaos Pegasoros (Spirit), Prince Pentan (Spirit), AL-Mi'raj (Spirit), Airavatah (Spirit) . This set also comes with a play guide, paper playmat, and cores.
