12inch Self Watering Pots, Plastic Planters with Mesh Drainage Holes and Deep Reservoir for Indoor Outdoor Garden Plants and Flowers, White

I needed a really big pot for a plant that refuses to stop growing, and this fit the bill perfectly. It is a very nice pot and quite sturdy. I have to confess I don't use the wick and bottom watering option that comes with this type of pot. I still water from the top and it's just fine. My plant is very happy and still growing, grrrr.

I'm using this pot for an alpine violet plant that overgrew a 10" planter. In addition to being the perfect size up, I love the construction of this new pot. The biggest problem I've run into trying to raise healthy plants indoors has been root rot - or too much water collecting inside of a planter whose drainage holes have become clogged. There is no chance of that occurring with this pot whose bottom has multiple holes - almost sieve like - allowing for excellent drainage. The water well below is deep, allowing for good aeration and very useful for keeping the soil moist when you leave home for an extended period of time. I also like the design - slightly narrower at the base than at the top - giving my plant plenty of room to grow without taking over the whole table on which I've got it sitting. Would definitely recommend and buy again!

I really love this pot. It has the proper drainage I needed, so easy to put together, I like the extra little hole to add water also.Sometimes it’s difficult to water because the leaves are in the way of the soil. Now I just pour water into there and then I can spray my plant with a mister. I originally bought this pot to switch to a bigger one, this one is actually the same size as the other I had but I already started seeing a different in my plant because this pot is so much wider. I definitely recommend. Looks very nice, plastic is nice and thick but lightweight enough so that if you have a heavier plant you’re not killing yourself trying to move it!! My plant was wilting way more yesterday. Photos are from today! I’m excited to see the improvement!

These large size self-watering pots work great and are very convenient. The small ones not so much as the water wells are so small they hold very little water. I would not purchase the small ones again.

They look very nice on plant stands and the plants are doing very well with the self watering. I just use a stick to dip into the water bowl to get a clue about the water level and then add water as needed. A common 16 oz. water bottle easily pours int the bowl.

Great quality item! Very durable and holds a lot of soil. I love the self watering feature which keep me from having to water as frequently and keeps the soil moist for weeks.

Seems to work well with a very large Spathiphyllum that I have. I don't have to worry about over watering or under watering as long as I keep the bottom reservoir full. I have to fill it once a week.

It looks nice. Works decently if it is kept in place. If you are going to be moving it around a fair amount I would not purchase this as the bottom comes unattached to the top very easily.

Planted my chilli plant in this. Went away for 2months, returned to find chilli plant is still alive. So it did its job!
