print a test cube before and after
I didn't expect these to quiet the stepper motors as the main board had the newest drivers and were quite fine out of the box. I printed the CHEP calibration cube before and after install. Not a stand out difference but the blank areas displayed a light fish scale pattern in the print before. After install it disappeared and all lines were perfectly straight. I expect the smaller spikes, spires or pinnacles would benefit from this alignment correction. In my Ender3 I used double sided foam tape, sticking two boards together and adhering the set to the front left leg and cross member in the rear inside the main board enclosure.

Print quality slightly improved; did nothing to quiet the stepper motors
I know there are mixed reviews about TL smoothers and whether they are effective or not. I actually did a controlled test and have before and after prints (from the exact same gcode) where ghosting (or ringing) is almost completely gone. Some people add TL smoothers to make the stepper motors quieter. I did not find this to be the case for me. What actually helped with that was adding the stepper motor dampers. Anyhow, these helped improve print quality (for me) and didn't blow up my printer, so I give them 5 stars. Do YOU need them? Maybe. But watch some YouTube videos about them first to see if your printer is exhibiting the issues that are claimed to be corrected with the smoothers.

I don’t know if they work or not
I added these to my ender 3 pro, to get rid of the wavy lines on the walls. Thinking it was the steppers but it didn’t seem to help. I also don’t think it hurt. Overall they plugged in fine and was basically plug and play.

Works Great in my Ender 3
I installed these TL-smoothers into my Ender 3 and it served to reduce the amount of jerk that the servos exhibited. Now I can print without jerk control and I don't get belt slippage. It was really easy, and there was plenty of room in the control box to house all the TL smoothers. This is a great upgrade for an inexpensive printer, making it print with less artifacts as it extends the life of the servos/belts. All the parts which were necessary came with the smoothers, so I didn't have to rig any cables.

A must have!
Used these smoothers for some stepper motors on one of my 3D printers. Wasn’t expecting huge improvements as far as reducing vibrations in my prints, but ended up with some pleasant results. My motors are running at cooler temperatures (~8-10 C°) which is drastic! They’re producing less noise during movement and I have been able to run the motors faster without all of additional vibrations that can transfer into print quality. I would highly recommend these to anyone 3D printing with ghosting or other surface quality issues.

Didn't fit in my printer
I purchased these for my Ender 3 and printed out a mount for them to put them in the original electronics box. They were too large to fit. Then I decided to relocate the electronics to the rear of the printer using boxes I found on Thingiverse. That new box has mounting holes to screw the TL-Smoothers into, but these do not have holes in them. Then I realized that these are larger than standard TL-Smoothers. I do not see how these could work on an Ender 3 without just having them mounted outside the printer, flapping in the breeze.

Surprising silence.
I purchased these to cut down on vibration. After installing them, which wasn't hard at all, I got an additional benefit. My Cr-10s runs almost silently. It's never been this quiet. I am amazed. I was thinking of buying dampers for the stepper motors, but I don't need to anymore.

Works on Ender 3
I installed these immediately so I don't have a before and after. All I know is that the there is a little bit of motor noise, but the fans are the biggest issue now. Print quality it in the software you use for the most part.
