I bought this soap as an alternative to the Lemon Softsoap my husband likes me to keep at the kitchen sink. I suffer from eczema, and it's especially bad in the winter. Softsoap only makes things worse. So, when it came time to buy more handsoap for the kitchen, I decided to try something new. I wanted something with a lemon scent to satisfy him, but I also wanted something that would moisturize my hands, especially since I'm the cook and I'm constantly washing my hands. I am so glad I decided to give Cleancult Liquid Hand Soap a try. The Lemon Verbana has a pleasant, refreshing lemon scent without being overpowering. The soap is very thick AND moisturizing, and it's easy to wash off. What a difference in quality. I do want to add that although the soap was packed in a separate box, one of the cartons had a puncture and some of the soap leaked out onto the box. Thankfully, it's so thick, it didn't spill all over the place, so I only lost a portion of the soap. I reached out to Cleancult and they responded very quickly. It's the best customer service that I've received in a while.

As somebody with sensitive, dry skin, this soap is my go-to. Let's start with the packaging: eco-friendly and sustainable. Perfect if you want to reduce your "plastic footprint" while refilling your soap bottles. The scent is a lovely, natural lavender. From the scent, feel, and look of the soap alone, you can tell how natural it is. There are no artificial scents or colors: the lavender scent comes from essential oils and the soap itself is colorless. It's very gentle on the skin and does not dry it out. I would recommend getting the two-pack to get the most value for your money. I'd say that for a two-person household, they'll last about four months. It's effective enough at getting grease and nasty smells off of your hands, though more intense oils will have to be scrubbed off with regular dish soap.

I bought the reusable container with this lovely hand soap some time ago. I love that the company offers this refills. It was easy to refill my bottle and I still have plenty for at least another full refill, possibly more. It's easy to refill and it's a great value for the money. Also, the hand soap is excellent. It lathers well and rinses clean.

I like the citrus smell of this soap. It has good lather but is not foamy. It seems to moisturize your hands when you wash with it. A little goes a long way. The only problem I have with it is that it is thick and does not want to come out of my pump bottle very easily. I love that it comes in earth friendly containers. It is a good value for the money.

I really like this hand soap! I wanted to reduce my plastic waste in 2026, and this is just one small step I’ve decided to take. However I was a bit worried because I’ve never used/seen this brand before, but after looking at the reviews, I decided to give it a try. Wow! The lavender scent is really nice, you can definitely smell it but it’s not too overpowering in my opinion. The soap also lathers like any other hand soap (I.e. SoftSoap, Mrs Meyers) I’d normally buy which was one of my main worries in switching soaps. Cleancult for the win!

I've always used the other brand that starts with a "Mrs." which left a sticky feeling on my hands. This soap does not leave any residue and my hands feel smooth. The lather is buttery smooth and the scent is very light. Honestly, the only downside of the soap is the scent is pretty faint. I love the paper carton it comes in as it's much easier to refill my soap. This will be my go-to soap from now on. I hope they do more sales because I'd love to stock up on more.

Product "feel" is probably on par with others like Softsoap. Works well enough. Scent was ok. My hands did not feel 'stripped' after use, although "moisturized" may be an exaggeration. The packaging is nice, tho. Very compact, easier to handle and to pour from than those plastic pouches with a small opening and cap. More eco-friendly, too, since it is paper-based - may be recyclable (unless there is a plastic laminate on inside.)

This stuff is great. It’s our favorite brand. High-quality and very effective. Does not leave a smell or residue. Clothes feel clean, versus just smell good.

Won’t buy it again! It is kind of sticky and makes your bathroom sink dirty in a blink of an eye. It is not moisturizing either and it even makes your hand a bit dryer that it is.
