Transcend JetFlash 700 64GB Flash Drive with USB3.0 connector
As I have come to expect good quality products from Transcend, this is no exception. 64gb and USB 3 you cant go wrong, its fast and reliable and it is yet another flash drive for my collection that I have been using for a few years now without any problems, I dont expect any from this drive either. You can use this in USB 2 slots as well as the USB 3, although ithe transfer rate wont be as fast. I have found it great for transporting data, films or music and it also works fine plugged into the back of my TV to record programs I want to watch later. Transcend have proved to me to be one of the more reliable flash drives that are on the market and I would recommend them .

Reliable
The product is neat, fast, well made and inexpensive. If I had any criticism it would be the you don't get the full 64gb. That , however, is the same with all memory sticks. Recommended.

Boots not, USB Floppy?
It has been many years since I haven't been able to boot off a USB stick after installing this or that version of Linux. Of course my ambitions for a 64GB device included using it as a boot drive, perhaps even as a Windows 8 "To Go" full portable installation. Sadly, neither my AMD nor my Intel machine will boot off it, the AMD ignores it completely and Intel (i7) freezes as soon as the bootloader runs for a split second. My Intel machine gave me a vital clue: its BIOS reports a USB FDD, a floppy drive! That a drive of this size does not "emulate" USB HDD is beyond me, and seems to break booting in a variety of settings. It is my first Transcend, I have another 10 sticks, even ancient ones, that boot all kinds of things. In another review it is mentioned that it could a mechanical design problem with the USB connector, but I don't seem to have that, all lights are go, except that it will not boot.Update 2013:Just when you think it cannot get worse, it developed the "write protected" problem, it does not have a write protection switch however it stops accepting any more writes. So I looked at the official website for software, an "online recovery" is one of the 3 little programs available for download, I looked into its manual where it says that it can attempt recovery with or without loss of data, running the program gives no such menu and no such warning, it formats the disk at once! This behavior is mentioned in their FAQ but missing from the program and the manual, oh well, Transcend reaches new lows!

Reliable Product
I have been using Transcend SD cards for photography and Flash Drives for computing for many years, I love being able to go on the Transcend website and by entering the serial number to validate that I have a genuine Transcend product. Also good price.

Transcend USB 3.0 700 series [32Gb]
Does exactly what it says on the box (packaging) works superbly on USB3.0.. excellent flow of data and even on USB 2.0 it is faster than their earlier models (300 series).. VFM? (Value for Money) .. I would say yes without hesitation. I compared the price to may 'rivals' and including Transcend's own website and I still saved .. [Amazon included free delivery and no additional import tax]5 Star ***** RatingExcellent qualitySmmoth designNeon Blue LED DATA Stream indicatorNeon Blue LED Power lightReplacement tops available from the manufacturer [should you lose it]Lifetime WarrantyYes.. definitely ticked all the boxes=====================================As of 30/05/13Drive failed.. constant blue flashing LED and unable to access drive using the Transcend Recovery software.. even by using CMD in three different Windows OS [Vista, 7 and 8 Pro] there was no reading the drive using 3.0 or 2.0Drive will have to be sent back to Transcend for a replacement... Reliability is now a concern.

Disconnects when playing music
The drive works ok until I use it as a USB drive for music in the car, it will drop the drive at least once during a 75 mile journey, if i was to guess, I think it gets too hot and then disconnects but it will reconnect about 20 seconds later.
