strong, effective, decently built
Definitely buy these as they will speed up prep to plant or simply drill out a place for potted plant. It easily rips through micro roots and soil turning. I have a 55 gallon bucket of old dirt and stuff that I need to mix up stuff into. Have a good drill motor and hand onto the drill with intent. If it grabs it will wrench your wrist. This is an asset to your garden tool set.

Helpful tool
I’ve hurt my arm and can no longer dig holes in my garden. This is the perfect tool to add to your drill and dig into hard dirt. It’s very sturdy and works well.

Read other reviews! Look for your soil type
Read other reviews to manage your expectations. If you’re planning to use in gardens/flower beds with already broken soil, this works great. My area is a thin layer of topsoil with clay beneath. This auger went through topsoil fine, it wouldn’t go through the clay. My drill started smoking trying to get through the clay. I wasn’t trying to force it, I was letting the auger do its work, but it just couldn’t get through it. I got maybe 6 inches in, if that. I needed two feet down. Pre-soaked clay soil isn’t any better. This auger isn’t balanced, it wobbles like crazy. As I said, if you’re using it in souls already prepped / managed for gardens I’m sure it works great.

Saves My Back! Makes Planting So Much Easier 🌱
I honestly didn’t expect to love this auger as much as I do, but it’s a total game-changer for gardening. I used to dread digging holes for bulbs and small plants — now it takes seconds with this drill bit! What I Like:•Very sturdy metal — no bending, not wobbly at all even in clay soil•Compatible with my cordless drill (just tighten the chuck)•Perfect hole depth for flowers, bulbs, and small vegetables•Saves serious time and effort — especially if you have many holes to digHelpful Tips:•Go slow at first and hold the drill firmly to stay in control•Works best in damp or loosened soil, but still handled dry dirt well for me•Rinse off after each use to keep it clean & sharpI’ve planted over 50 tulip bulbs with this already, and my back and wrists are thanking me.Overall: Durable, fast, and a must-have for any home gardener. Highly recommended!

These are awesome!
These things are awesome. I’m pretty sure the people before us planted rocks in the yard. These go through or move anything in way. Just pick what size hole you want, easily attach to your drill and away you go. Blown away by the quality for the price.

Huge Time & Money Saver – Perfect for Fence Projects!
This auger drill bit worked great! We were debating whether to rent or buy a post hole digger, but this saved us both the cost and the hassle. My husband was able to dig all the holes we needed for our fence quickly and without the backache that comes from doing it manually. It’s compact, easy to store, and well worth the money. Highly recommend for anyone tackling outdoor projects!

works but has an issue
I needed this to help with some post holes in hard packed soil. The post hole digger simply wasn't getting the job done so I thought this would help.Pro - it did work and I got the holes all done. I used a dewalt cordless drill with 3ah batteries and was able to get 2 or 3 holes done per battery charge. I drilled about 2 to 3" at a time and then used the post hole digger to clear out the dirt.Con - The drill comes in two pieces and that is what led to the problem. The drill will for sure start bending at the connection and as a result will start wobbling. It still works but will be more difficult to drill as it will vibrate when drilling. For me, it started wobbling on the 3rd hole. If you are careful or have soft ground, it may last longer but eventually, it will bend at the connection. Conclusion - If I were to buy again, I would go with a one piece 24" drill bit. One piece would be a superior design. So get this if you have to get the longer 32" reach but be advised, it will start bending on you. The bending doens't stop it from working as I drilled several more holes after it started bending but it does make the process a bit harder on your wrists with it wobbling.

This will do the job
Sturdy and cuts thru all sorts of ground with a good drill. Cuts small roots as it goes if you have some strength.
