Worked great !
Worked great for us ! Bought this item for my 9yr old who is just starting to raise his own chickens. We are on day 6 of our eggs in an incubator & we were just able to check our eggs with ease. Flashlight worked great and he thought it was super neat to see inside 😊 Would recommend !

Only part of the light showed up
The box was closed and undamaged and there was only one piece of the light in it.

It is as described and works quite well.
This light seems like it is 0cheapIy made. I will post accordingly if it is.

Works-ish
Cheaply made. There is a short in the wiring. It will turn on and it does light enough that you can see what you are looking for. It also will turn off if you move at all while holding it, or turn off in general. **Turn on, egg in place, light goes out, move the egg, smack it a few times, light back on, egg in place, maybe you candle, maybe you restart the smacking process**

Gotta have it.
I have my own chickens, so I don't worry about egg prices. If you raise your own eggs, you definitely need to candle them before you give them away.

Not worth it!
This was disappointing. Not worth the money. My flashlight works better.

Compact and battery operated
My incubator has a candler in top, but it’s not really clear so I purchased this one. See video and pic. The directions are sparse and you may need more information. I tried it this morning and it’s definitely more clear than the incubator one. I am please so far with the purchase.

Good grief this thing is terrble
Oh my Goodness this thing is awful. To get the black lampshade off it you have to use a bottle opener that is on a pair of kitchen scissors. Also very strong hands which I don’t have. Just keep twisting on it. Finally after much trouble it comes off. Then you have to figure out how to get the batteries into it. I don’t recommend this item just for the aggravation it causes. I scratched it all up with my bottle opener getting the lampshade off. Here pictured is the instructions. LOL. We need more than that. What do they call this Engrish? LOL. At LEAST one nice thing they do include 6 batteries. If my photos help you get this thing going I’m happy to share them.
