Ordered the tortoise directly from amazon. The lenses appear to have a wide horizontal strip of discoloration going across the middle. Is this normal?

What you're seeing is our bi-gradient mirror finish on the sunglasses that in some lighting does appear as a horizontal "stripe" across the lenses. The bi-gradient mirror tint has a mirror coating on the top and bottom of the lens which blocks glare from above and below. This feature allows the sunglasses to squint for you and is meant to be there. Mahalo!

Aren't these unisex and not women's only? The official site only has one listing.

They were unisex when I bought them.for myself. I own 5 pairs of Maui Jims. As a man I wouldn't buy women's sunglasses for myself

do these come with a case?
