You only need a tiny amount so one tube will last me like a year, as I tend to only get cold sores when I’m stressed or getting sick. Even having one is a bummer enough, so I always keep a tube of this in my purse so if I notice one coming on and am out, I can treat as soon as possible. Highly recommend!

It does sort of numb up the area immediately upon application. It speeds up recovery vs nothing at all. With frequent application this tiny tube makes breakouts only last 4-5 days.
