Man I love these! I have a lot of thick hair and I use two of them to fasten my hair in an updo every day and it looks great, doesn’t come out, and doesn’t give me a headache like some clips do. Meaning, the hinge is not too tight or too loose, and the material they’ve made with doesn’t slip. The brown-black color is muted and subtle. So far they seem sturdy and they. are affordable, so I’m going to keep buying them as long as they keep selling them!

I have short but super thick hair, and I was honestly surprised by how well these clips held everything in place—they’re incredibly sturdy and don’t budge! The color options are also a nice bonus, offering a variety that works with any look. Plus, the size is just right for versatile styling—whether I’m doing a half-up or pulling all my hair up, they handle it effortlessly. Definitely a win for short-haired folks like me!

They grab my medium length hair perfectly and better than regular alligator clips!

Decent quality octopus claw clips. The plastic is a bit on the thinner side but they do work well and aren’t super cheapy like some I’ve had. The size is good for me and they open and close easily. The grip holds all day. I have medium length fine hair but a lot of it. I can hold all of my hair in these but I don’t recommend these for thick hair unless you are doing a half up do. I like the octopus style because once it’s in they are pretty inconspicuous.

These medium-sized hair clips work perfectly for my very fine hair. The edge of the clip is curved! It took a woman-owned company to figure out our heads are curved and straight-edge clips are uncomfortable. Thanks, ladies! The matte colors look great with light colored hair, and they're are many choices available. The outer material is neat and doesn't look as cheap as icky plastic clips. Perfect. Thanks, ladies!

I was initially skeptical about these hair claws because I had been using slightly smaller Scunci octopus hair claws for years. But these are the best I've ever used and I now use them exclusively. I love how strong and sturdy they are and the matte finish. (I am not a fan of shiny finishes on most hair claws because they look so cheap and juvenile.) I love that I need only 1 of these hair claws to comfortably hold my thick long hair in place in a tight bun, without looking like a monstrous object sticking out of my head, whereas I needed at least two Scunci hair claws.

My hair is finally getting some length on it and I needed something that would keep it out of my face. I never had matte claw clips, but I really like them. They hold my hair well, (wavy fine to medium hair) and I really like the colors. I bought another set after I tried these. They are super comfortable and well made. The shiny plastic ones get dull after a while and just seem to break easily. I hope these last a while.
