Great customer service but watch out for the locking caps
This mudguard is awesome and flexible. Can convert from normal looking short to ugly but super effective long version. Rode in very wet and muddy conditions and my backpack, shirt, shorts, dropper post, and pivots were clean while other people had loads of gunk all over. Have confidence to ride straight through middle of the puddles and ride faster overall. I did end up losing one of the locking caps. I’m pretty sure I put it on tight but went down some super rocky rough high speed DH so things do tend to fall off in those conditions. I sent and email to muckynutz and they were nice about it and offered to send a replacement. I’m going to put a hole in the middle of the cap and placing a small zip tie just in case it happens again. Now that I’m used to riding clean and riding with abandon, don’t think I’ll go back to riding without this rear mudguard.

You Need This Fender
I never write reviews, but the Mugguard is awesome! I live and ride in the foothills of NorCal above Sacramento where wet season riding is sweet, but also slimy, mucky and muddy.Typically when I return home from a winter ride I need to hose down my riding gear outdoors before washing to remove the mud caked to my backside but no more. Not only do I not need to do so anymore, this fender keeps my lower legs and shoes significantly cleaner, bike too, with just a small fraction of the mud and spatter I normally experience.Great product and was super fast and easy to install as well, perhaps 10 minutes including final adjustments.

Adjustability and quick remove extension make this the best one I've tried.
The angle adjustment is nice to raise slightly and remove the slap common on fenders this size, the removable extension is a nice touch for those extra wet days. Fits solid, doesn't slide around. A++

Pretty solid fender, but you might want to modify it to keep it from moving down.
Design is good, but to keep it from slipping it should really have optional slots similar to the front mudguard they make for attaching to the seatpost, or to the seatstay. I do like the adjustable length, I ziptied it to my rear rack to keep it from sliding down, and also to keep it from rattling. I like the design overall a lot, though I wish the branding was less... in your face.My bike is a MTB hardtail commuter hybred, and this is a really good fit for it, and even riding around on streets after it had rained, it kept the bike and my ass clear of water and mud. It's not a full commuter fender though, a bit of spray from enting the puddles can hit your shoes on the bottom of the stroke if you're going through deeper stuff. But that's not what it's intended for, for trails, keeping mud and grime off all the important areas of the bike, (and your back?) This thing rules.

Quality Product
This rear fender is exactly what I wanted for my e-bike. It was quickly delivered too. This rear fender is well made, stylish, and durable. Easy to set up, however, no instructions were provided. It came with a nice carrying pouch for extra parts. To me, it was money well spent.

flimsy plastic
This thing did not cover my tire enough to keep me and the bike clean even though it states its for a 3-inch wide tire. tried them out on actual offroad, and they broke, and before they broke, they slid around and dragged against my tire. not worth a $50 price tag maybe $15

Get it.
Simple purchase if you ever ride in the wet.I leave the short portion on all year round.I was the second of my riding group to get a real fender. There are now 7 that have purchased this fender in the last year, and the original guy bought this one too.Works well on full suspension and hardtails.Hands down best rear fender for a MTB bike I've seen.

No more muddy back
Fits very well, easy to install and most importantly, very effective. A fair amount of rain has led to very muddy trails. The spray going up my back was unpleasant. Now, no spray and no dirty back. Should have done it sooner.
