I’m so glad I bought these. I was struggling to fix a plug in hanging light from my ceiling that’s pretty heavy,, and these “hooks” saved me. The light is at least 6 pounds and has stayed put in my ceiling for close to a year with these. Amazing price for a good quality product. Easy to install for someone like me who isn’t “handy” in the slightest without my husband guiding me LOL and it fit the thicker “rope” cord that plugs in pretty easily. 10/10 and made me feel so comfortable in my “handy woman” skills LOL

Not only was I impressed with this sort of innovative solution for hanging exposed cords for lighting and such, I was impressed with the quality of the product. It did come with some standard anchors, but it also came with some excellent plastic toggle type anchors which were super easy to work with, install, seem to be very sturdy, and something I will be buying for other items I mount in the future after using them with this product. I wasn't able to fully close the button piece completely once I inserted the cord to be hung, but the screws allow the item to be somewhat adjustable so that the hole size can be somewhat expanded to fit a slightly thicker cord. I don't think this is good for mounting extension cords or very thick cords, however, as it doesn't have much allowance for more than a lamp cord or thinner. I mounted a corded hanging light, and the cord just barely fit with expanded openings. It did work, however, and it looks nicer than any other mounting hardware that I'm aware of that could be used for this application across a ceiling. Recommended

When it comes to pendant lights the US market really lags behind. Every ceiling escutcheon seems to be loaded with "ornamental" relief designs and every ceiling support hook is a gaudy oversized brass monstrosity. These hooks are small, simple, elegant, well made and inexpensive. After searching for hours and almost settling on some $70 ultra modern stainless steel hooks I found these. $12 for a 3-pack! They are made of cast painted metal. They are small - the hole is made for a 1/4" (6mm) diameter cord - so they are perfect for European style pendant lights not big chandeliers with massive reinforced cords.

Works well but used alternative screw and anchor to attach to textured plywood ceiling on porch equivalent. Combined with cord hiding channel after reaching the wall.

These were awesome for anchoring the cafe string lights on a job! They clamped down and held firmly on the wire and made a clean install!

These look good, stay in place, lock tight when pared with the correct cord. No complaints here. They look just as good in person as the pics and are sturdy enough. It was a good choice buying these.

I had previously purchased a set of outdoor hooded hanging ceiling lights for over a bar area; they came with a rubber hanger. While they did support the light fixture, they did not support the fixture once I added additional baskets for decoration. I purchased these metal ones hoping they would do the job. So far, so good. In the attached photo, I did leave a portion of the rubber disk from previous set as I had already drilled holes in my ceiling and I did not want those holes to show with the newer, smaller metal hangers. So the hangers do look larger in picture than what you will actually receive.
