You can find other style of retro radios at the mall or department stores, but this one beats them bar none. Love the color, it's durable and a little heavy so you know you are not buying a piece of junk. Size is just right to place on top of my small desk. Sound quality is surprisingly crisp. Both functional and art. It is very easy to switch to Bluetooth mode and connect it to your cell phone. I rarely need to lift the antennae up to get a station. I get compliments on top of compliments on this retro radio. I highly recommend it and I have zero regrets.

I bought this to mainly listen to mp3 files from a USB drive, and to listen to the FM radio.When I first got it, the USB port didn't work (I tried several drives) so I exchanged it right away. I'd gotten a lemon, sometimes it happens, and amazon replaced it.The replacement worked great for 7 months; then the USB stopped working, and the radio was not able to hold a signal (it would turn on, but was so choppy you couldn't understand anything). I plugged it in to charge it but the charging light did not come on.I tried replacing the battery, and that fixed it, everything works great again! But if it does: try replacing the battery!

Originally, I was very impressed with this player. In fact, I recommended it as a gift for my son to buy for his grandmother. He bought the exact same model for her. She loved it at first, but it only lasted for a month. She was using a micro SD card with mp3s loaded onto it. Now, the player will only play music for a short time, and then it will stop abruptly. It also happens when you try to use a flash drive with music on it. The issue has nothing to do with charging, as we made sure the device was fully charged. The one that I bought myself at the end of November 2023 was still working at this point, so I thought hers was just a fluke. Now, the same thing has happened with my player. Although, mine lasted longer than my mother's. We have found that we can get it to work if we plug it into a PC using the USB cable while it is playing. However, the SD and USB ports will not play music continuously when the device is running off battery. This defeats the purpose of this player. Unfortunately in both cases, the return window had just closed, so we are stuck with two defective devices. My son ended up buying another one of the same model for his grandmother (before mine died), and it is working fine so far. We will see how long it lasts.
