Super sturdy
This backpack is perfect for my medium sized dog. It fits him just right and he doesn’t mind riding in it as it is secure without being too restrictive. Great material and design.

Perfect for Pug Adventures
Very cute and useful! I have a pug and he’s a little short for it - his tail doesn’t stick out of the intended hole, but with a little stuffing it works well. Overall the bag is well made and comfortable for the user.

Great small dog carrier
Even though I’ve only used this once so far, this is a great little carrier for my 19lb Westie. It’s a little bit of setting the dog up in it, but as long as they are good with standing while you get them in there and all the buckles, etc., done, works great and is very functional. She seemed just happy as a clam in it. Takes a little bit of finesse to get it on once your dog is in it so ya don’t jostle them too much swinging it onto your shoulders, but as a medium build gal, with a smaller dog, it was fine. Easier worh a partner if you have one convenient but totally doable without if not. Plus, cute as hell walking around with her little furry face and tail out the port. Just begging for no-stoop attention and pets. Perfect for the farmers market that doesn’t “allow dogs” on leash and perfect for trying out dog treats before buying. I mean, she is RIGHT THERE with her furry little face. I’m about 5’5” and it adjusted comfortably for me as well. Depending on the dog, probably don’t want to carry them around for more than about an hour or so, but that is what the instructions said, which seems about right, in fairness to your fur baby, who is after all sitting in it the entire time. She didn’t fuss, and didn’t seem to be “thank GOD!” when I took out at the end, so great piece of gear to have on hand for those moments when a leashed critter isn’t welcome (what???). :) I do wish that it had a few small add-on pockets like the larger size I had to return, but not a deal killer.

Excellent, with caveats
Overall excellent construction, quality, ease of use, and specificity of purpose. But if you hike or backpack at all I believe this pack will be immediately uncomfortable and difficult to adjust to. Excellent for the dog, less excellent for the human carrier. I’m not sure what they could’ve done differently since it needs to be designed with the dog in mind first. I did get the small, and it doesn’t have a hip belt (wouldn’t be in the right place even if added, which some models cannot so double check if that’s important to you) or load lifters, which would go A LONG WAY toward alleviating the mid-back strain. Most backpacking loads are less than or equal to a small to medium dog’s weight so just imagine that heavy of a load not distributed evenly or supported adequately. Going to try some “aftermarket” adjustments to mine to see if we can get it a bit more comfortable for me, but aside from that it’s a great product and I do recommend. *update, tried a new tactic today for a hike: slipping the Chonk into my regular daypack. Pros: more support and better distributed load, doggie control features of the Chonk intact. Would be nice to have all these features in one bag but it wasn’t that bad, I had some extra room in the backpack for my personal items. Clipped it into the daypack thru the straps.

Holds my lazy pug nice and sturdy
My 22lb pug loves it. Size medium. Just hangs out when we do long walks or if we are baking and want to keep him from chocolate. Does not overheat in it. Seems comfortable as we set him down and he doesn’t want to get out. But he is also a pug. Very sturdy and has a nice clip to hold their collar so they cannot try to jump out.

Fits our Corgi very well.
This fits our 8-month-old Corgi perfectly. The quality is excellent, the stitching feels strong, and nothing seems like it will tear or give out under our Corgi’s weight. We also love the overall design, especially the well-placed handles that make it easy to adjust or carry our pup while she's inside. Our only complaint is with the fit for the person wearing it. The chest strap isn’t designed well for women. When my girlfriend wears it, buckling the front strap is awkward and uncomfortable due to some clear design oversights. Real unfortunate as I bought this specifically for her. If it weren't for this, the product would be near perfect. It fits me just fine, since I’m male and don’t have anything on my chest that interferes with the strap. But for others, it's not ideal.

Best expensive purchase I've ever made lol
Y'all this was A SPLURGE. I was afraid I would have to return it since my dog absolutely hates being enclosed in small spaces, and she doesnt like being in dog carriers. For starters, my dog is a bit on the smaller side, so I folded down a part of the backpack and she fit perfectly. I got this so I could take her on bike rides with me, since she is older and cant keep up anymore. Let me just say, it is perfect for going on bike rides! My dog stays in it, she loves tagging along, and it feels very secure. Sometimes she'd just move around a bit, but she has never felt the need to jump out (which was my biggest fear). I've tried a few other dog carriers but I had no luck getting my dog into them. With this one, I had to put the backpack on backwards, and shove her inside. She was confused at first and did not like that I did that, but she noticed how she was attached to me, and immediately calmed down. After that fiest struggle, she let me put her in the backpack calmly all the other times we've used it. On bike rides I have the backpack on the right way, and it is extremely comfortable for me as well. The comfortability, security, to me, make it a good value for the money. These are our babies we're talking about here. Love that we can go on adventures 🥹💕

Great fit for pups who love to travel
This was an amazing purchase to help our senior dog be able to still venture with us and explore the city. We used this to take him to a baseball game and are going to a dog event this weekend. The backpack is great quality and supportive while keeping our pup safe. For us, it is comfortable to wear for long periods of time and didn’t feel too heavy. I would recommend purchasing this for your pup too!
