I read the bad reviews. Three, in particular, stand out to me and I have difficulty believing that people don't their due diligence or read instructions or understand how solar lights work. The lights have 3 settings: off, flame and on. You have to pull out the tab and choose if you want to have them shining without the flicker, or with. In both the videos of the one star reviews, it's still blatantly light outside, so of course the solar lights won't work until it's dark, hence why the light only comes on when the top is covered or turned upside down 🤦They literally demonstrated the light working and their own ignorance. What's worse, is the people that found their review "helpful." 😂 All of mine started working right away. They are pretty large, which is nice. About the quality plastic one would expect from an Amazon Chinese product. None of them broke upon insertion into the hard ground. They add a nice little glow around the confines of my property. I actually purchased them because I've read that certain lights can deter bears and other wild animals with the illusion of fire, but who knows. Will see how long the lights last, but will probably be a challenge to light in winter with less sunlight.

Great idea. Love the flickering setting. But the stands are flimsy. If I touch one with a lawn mower tire the light falls off the stand. Not often. I guess epoxy glue would fix that. I’d buy them again.

I have had these for over a year and only needed 2 of them but figured the extra 4 would be replacements as they broke or quit working. I have yet to need to replace them as they are going strong. I have since used them in other places and they are great and look so nice at night.

Every night I enjoy watching these turn on. I started with the square ones on the deck and then I bought these lights 2 more times since. I have these in my backyard, front yard & side yard. A very inexpensive way that adds beautiful free lighting every night. The only suggestion I have is purchase upgraded batteries. I believe I have 1600 mah versus the 600 ? mah that they came with. These turn on at dusk and I have awoken at 5:30 AM to see them still on with the battery upgrade.

Originally bought for Christmas use but now using to mark end of my driveway. Light is pretty strong.

These are adorable! I love the candy cane design. Perfect for Christmas. Nice quality and very easy to set up. The controls are easy to switch back and forth from flickering light to steady light. I like the flickering look. Kind of Tiki like. I love that they are solar, but wish they lasted longer. I'd say they only last up to 3 hours. But they lasted through the rain storms!

Super cool little lights, they actually look like burning flames. I was a little suspect when I first put them together… they looked a little cheesy. But they’re awesome and really look like a burning flame highly recommended. Our neighbours have commented on the ones we have in our front yard so they look super cool… I even saw a guy bending over trying to light his cigar till he realized it wasn’t an actual flame 😜
