This is the perfect size to carry in a side holster for pruning shrubs and small trees. It's small enough to get in tight spaces in shrubs, but large enough to do small tree work. I like that I can install a new blade when needed.

I have five California pepper trees. I've been using the two handled pruning shears before I got this. One pullback and a limb is gone. Easy. Sometimes it's hard to use two-Handled shears because you can't quite get to the limb you want. And my other hand is free for balance, grabbing a limb, etc. I was shocked at how easy it was!

Such a useful tool in the garden

The primary task of cutting is good enough. The saw blade is thin, which is probably why it's a pull only saw. Have to be careful on the push direction so as not to bend the blade. Main advantage is the smaller size it's easier to maneuver than my larger pruning saw.

I had to finish cutting down my rose bushes before the snow fall. This small tool was so smooth and easy to use with my old 70's yr. old hands. My work was completed in record time.

Cuts through branches like butter!

While the saw is very handy and a nice size folded, the blade is VERY thin and flexes at the slightest bind. I should have been more careful, true…but it snapped very easily when I was doing a quick cut on an awkward angle. And, replacement blades seem tough to find.

I love felco tools. This is my second 601 saw only because I use it so much. The old one is still available as a backup! Highly recommend for orcharding, on the go pruning, vine removal and general eco maintenance.

Je ne peux pas dire que ce produit coupe bien, c'est le cas mais pour moi il fait peur comparé a ma precedente scie pliante qui etait bien rigide. Je coupais sans faire attention mais la parfois cela part a droite ou a gauche et j'ai peur que cela se casse a force. Ceci est du a la finesse de la lame (plus fine que ma précédente premier prix mais qui avait du mal a couper) et a l'encastrement de la lame que je trouve un peu léger. On va dire qu'il ne faut pas couper trop gros ou trop dur. Les secateurs de la meme marque sont largement mieux.

Die kleine Taschensäge ist schneidet durch Äste fast wie durch Butter. Sehr scharf - vorsichtig mit den Fingern... ;)
