I bought this product multiple times. Perfect in keeping my kitty healthy and stop her from over eating (multivitamins help with hunger as it provides nutrition). Lasts long and is great value. It is a thick paste that my cat loves to lick off, very easy to use, with neutral smell (for me). I think she loves the taste!

My cat loves the malt paste of this brand and I couldn't get her usual vitamin paste so thought I'd get this brand instead. It was a huge mistake.The vitamin paste contains very sharp pieces of a wood-like material. Luckily I do not give it to her straight from the tube, I put it on my finger for her to lick off. One the second day of the first tube I felt a very sharp hard object in the paste mix. On closer inspection I removed a hard wood-like item about 1cm long, shocked and thinking it was maybe just a mistake I got another tube but it was the same, with sharp, hard pieces throughout the paste. I checked the label thinking it was maybe some sort of seed pod but no seeds in the ingredients.My cat is nearly 11 years old and also can be quite a picky eater, and so I give her a vitamin paste because of this. Sadly as much as she liked the paste I cannot give this to her and have cancelled the subscription. I can't recommend this product as these sharp pieces could easily damage a cats throat and are sharp enough to pierce soft tissue.We have had no problems with the malt paste however and my cat loves her bedtime treat.
