Great product. Especially hoppy/hazy beers
Works like a champ. Instructions aren’t great but available online. I made a big hoppy Pliney the elder clone and the first pour was clean as it could be.

GREAT PRODUCT!!!
Absolutely love this clever product...it already bailed me out of two issues that no other product could have helped with... First issue, my siphon tube was clogging up with hopps and sediment. I had to open keg several times to remove the dip tube to clear it out. Because I was concerned about contamination, I ordered this from Amazon knowing I could NOT use the tradition, standard floating ball siphon because I would have to stick my hand in the keg and make the awkward attachment from inside...(impossible when keg is filled). This entire system is connected from outside. The hose and siphon tube is made thinner to fit into posts from outside of the keg. All you need is the "hookit" tool to pull siphon hose out to connect to the Flotit (again, all from outside the keg). I just sprayed sanitizer on everything that got exposed and made all connections from the outside of keg, dropped FLOTit into the beer, sealed everything up, a few blasts of CO2 and purged out any air and all was perfect...Beer was much more clear, no sediment and tasted amazing! My second issue was that I was losing CO2 from a bad O-ring attached to the old style floating ball siphon post. This was a dilemma because the only way I could change out the O-ring was I had to free the siphon line from the post and let the ball drop off. Again, the FLOTit attaches from the outside and because the siphon tube and post are made thinner you can feed them through from outside. Again I sanitized everything, opened the ball lock, pulled out the siphon line with the "hookit tool," installed the FLOTit from the outside. I then dropped the sanitized FLOTit into the keg and sealed everything up...purged out the air, a few bursts of CO2...and all was good. Beer is much more clear, sediment free, and tasted perfect. Customer support has been amazing!!! This was a great find and clever idea!

Very happy with this purchase
I can confirm that no beet is left behind! At least none that you want to drink. I've been playing around with fermenting in a 6.5 gallon keg to eliminate the risk of oxygen and make my life a bit easier. so far the FLOTit is making this system work! no clogged valves, no 'ick' in my glass, and nothing but trub left in the bottom of the keg.

Best floating dip tube you can buy for both the keg and the pressure fermenter
Best floating dip tube you can buy for both the keg and the pressure fermenter These are amazing! I was a fan of the FLOTit 1.0 and have slowly been migrating all of 16 kegs and 4 fermenters over to the FLOTit 2.0 system. If you ever do a fermentation with something like berries, this is the only floating diptube that can pull the majority of your beer, while not clogging on all the seeds and pulp.

Absolutely fantastic product. 100% Recommend to all users.
I have used other filter inlets and they sucked. Not the Floatit, this device is very well engineered. I used it on a 7GAL all rounder and it left nothing but the yeast cake at the bottom. I was able to capture my fully intended 5 gallons. I even shook my fermenter around a bit to see if the device would sink or end up in a position that would be unfavorable. NOPE, as soon as C02 was applied the device stood straight up and began to draw beer clear from the top. I highly recommend this device if you want to draw clear beer from the top of fermenter and leave the yeast cake behind.

Best floating dip tube - all my kegs are converted
First - I have NO business association with HBL - I'm just a fan. I have converted all my kegs to have FloatIt dip tubes. One of the key differences for this floating dip tube is that the SS dip tube is tapered at the bottom to make it easy to put on the silicone tubing installed. If you've tried the others - and I have a few - they all use standard diameter dip tube and its....hard. When you're trying to stay sanitary and move quickly, the FloatIt makes all the difference. Also it floats beautifully and you really can dispense pretty much all the beer in the keg. The filters work great and you can keg hop "commando" and beer without hop matter and dispense smoothly. Here's a photo I took when I opened a kicked keg the other day to begin cleaning. They work flawlessly and clean up and sanitize easily. They are worth the price - yes, they're twice the price, but made in US and they work better than the competition.

I HAVE TWO!
I am pressure fermenting in Corney kegs and this gets all of the cider or beer and non of the sludge on the bottom. It super easy to clean. I have not needed to disassemble It yet but the two filters it has are very nice. It feels a little cheap but it works very well.

The best floating pickup I've used. Expensive but worth it. Delivers clear beer right to the bottom of the keg but maturation time is still important for the best flavour; it isn't a time shortcut!

I bought a bunch of 6 gallon kegs and these floating dip tubes. I brew the beer and pump the wort right into the keg (sometimes no chill method). I ferment in the keg under pressure 5-10psi. Once fermentation is complete I move the keg to the fridge, and serve out of it. Simple and no chance of cold side O2. I'm making great beers with this method and this dip tube works great!

There is no better alternative. This works excellently every time. They are in all my kegs and fermentation chambers. I have bought several as back ups. They are that good.
