Heal Thyself for Health and Longevity

Wonderful book to add if you are on a healing journey. Queen Afua's books are the most comprehensive collection I've read thus far on women's health and well being from an " African natural lifestyle" perspective.

This is a reorder for a previous copy yrs back. Ive already begun reading and still find it to be very interesting and even more, helpful looking forward to utilizing this wonderful information going forward. Nice book and a good read

This book was life changing for me. It is tailored to life challenges, mindset, and health. It is respectful to all beliefs and simply focused on healing! I love it.

I keep this journal, Sacred Women and Heal Thyself on my iPad and on my nightstand next to my bible for quick reference as I have read them several times. I have purchased several printed books of Sacred Women and Heal Thyself online and in store to give a gifts. I first would like to say that a male friend recommended Queen Afua to me. In doing my research I made it my business to reach out to her to ask questions. I was lucky enough to speak with her several times and her knowledge is like talking to a person whose spirit has live a long time. Her wisdom is simple and kind. It truly has been a blessing for me. I not a person that takes medications and I don't have any illness that I have to deal with on a daily basis (i.e. high blood pressure etc.) but I will say that I needed to get healthier. I incorporated Queen Afua's teachings with those that have been shared with me by my mother, my Grandmother who passed away at 103 years old and my Aunt whose is alive today 1/24/17 at 109 years old. If you want to improve your life, you must put in the work for yourself. Take some time to read what Queen Afua shares and Heal Yourself because if you don't think you are a SACRED WOMAN, who will?!

Queen Afu plain and simple lays out a blue print for life. This book is a must read for anyone who is unsure of themselves or who want to change their unhealthy habits, and follow a path of healing mentally,physically, and spiritually. I think all young women ages 13 and up should read this book to gain a sense of knowing/discovering/defining the queens they really are and keeping themselves healed and disease free for many years to come.This is the kind of book you would want to reference time after time!Queen Afua's many recipes for fasting and cleansing is a wonderful source of information to utilize and pass along through multiple generations of our queens young and old.If you are an american born african-american with broken roots and no sense of culture this is a great place for our young girls to start!
