Great lightbulbs if you need the brightness of a thousand suns. They get pretty warm. Wanted to put these in the washroom but they're far too bright.

This light is extremely bright. I have four different fluorescent light fixtures in my garage. Eight total light. The fixtures themselves of all quit working in my garage is really dark. So I purchased this for the garage door opener and removed the bug guard around the light bulb. It lights up my garage enough to where I can actually do things in the garage again. Nice color. Really bright and a single floor lamp brightly lights up a large living room.

I've purchased several Sansi LED bulbs in many configurations and wattages. I'll continue to buy them over the cheaper big box alternatives.

Short 3 week life and can't be returned

for a lightbulb rated 300W equivalent.

This is for the 5000 lumen 3000K bulb, which is the option with the lowest rating. It is bright, like if you own a bar and want a light to turn on at the end of the night to let everyone know it's time to leave kind of bright. If that's what you want, it's great. It's not cheap, but if you still miss incandescent bulbs, get this. I don't recommend using it in any application where you can see the actual bulb since your eyes will probably have a hard time adjusting. I like 2700K, and the lowest available is 3000K, but it's still warm enough, despite being so bright. I bought two for upward aiming floor lamps in a 10x20 room that always felt dark. Using both bulbs was over kill. So I switched one back to the original 1600 lumen bulb.

This bulb is every bit as powerful as the spec indicates. But it really distinguishes itself with all the air circulation they have afforded it. I expect that it will last as long as they indicate because heat is what kills LED bulbs. We have been using the bulb during the daytime as well as night, which is hard on a bulb, but it shows no sign of dimming. Nice design. It is a bit tall, so check your available placement before ordering it.
