Intermediate skill level and up! No “return to base”function.
Great little plane, I suck at flying it, but man is it fun. This has been a blast to learn with, I’ve crashed like 75 times now. Great entry level price for turnkey ready to fly planes. A big seller for me was the 3 skill level switches for beginner, Midd & Expert. (I’ve tried expert 2x and both ended with high speed nose dive exploding the propeller upon meeting the ground) I’ve had to use a bit of gorilla glue ad Q-tips to glue the damage I’ve caused by full speed skydives/ smacking into street lights and learning to land. (Haven’t hit a car/ house yet) After about 6 hours of flight time, I got a Buck cocky and thought I’d see how high I can fly it. Managed to get a hundred or so feet high and kinda lost direction of which way it was heading.. couldn’t recover which way it was heading, a strong gust of wind came along and took my lil P51 on side quest. After losing hope of recovering my flight, I hit the kill switch and watched the plane coast long out of my line of site.. if I ever find it(pretty sure it landed in the lake a few hundred yards away) I’ll have 2 planes.. a few of my neighbors have watched me flying and got these planes for themselves. We plan of having neighborhood dogfights (with the planes okay, relax) to set up the neighborhood hierarchy. Battery’s last between 8-12 minutes per flight, depending on wind speed.

Yeah, you'll probably break it but...
If you're new to RC planes, like me, you'll have to accept that it's impossible to make an unbreakable rc plane (I initially wrote a 1 star review after breaking all 5 propellers on the first day). There's a steep learning curve, and you will most likely break it while learning, but once you overcome these issues, it's one of, if not the best, budget RC planes you could buy. Get the insurance too, so you don't lose all your money when it breaks. I can now do seemingly impossible maneuvers and stunts with this plane that still surprise me every time I fly.

Fun while it lasted
This is in no way a knock against this rc plane but be very careful where you decide to fly… I had read reviews and watched videos for about a week straight till I finally pulled the trigger and bought my first rc plane.. the P51 (blue and yellow). It showed up yesterday and all day I couldn’t wait to fly it… I finally got some free time about 2 hours before dark. I took it down to the local park there’s a giant field probably the size of 3 soccer fields.. I read all the instructions, fired up the controller and plane, threw it in the air and viola, i was flying. Felt absolutely amazing, I was banking turns, doing dives, going straight up coming straight back down… did a close fly by myself and could nearly feel the air coming off the plane…it was, dare I say, exhilarating… so I’m basically doing giant laps in the sky, getting used to the controls.. couldn’t believe how cool it was… I’m eyeballing the plane, so much so I lose track of where I’m flying and then next think I know I realize i’m over some trees, I start to panic, I tried to turn away and somehow as I’m trying to get out away from the trees they just get taller and taller and smack!!! got stuck in a tree. These trees are massive, probably 50-60 feet, maybe higher. And it’s lodged in the top. I tried throwing a couple rocks but it’s so high up in the tree I’m not coming close… this is a public park and here’s this grown man throwing rocks at an RC plane stuck in a tree.. Embarrassed and defeated, I give up. 120 bucks gone in 5 minutes. never again. I’m done with rc. If anyone wants a controller hit me up 😂

Terrific little airplane !!!
This kit is great! Three batteries and five props plus a pretty rugged airframe keep you flying, and this nice handling airplane keeps you smiling! I’m an 81 year-old beginner and this is my second plane, and the first one I’ve been able to fly In the “MIDD” setting (but thank the good lord for the autopilot!!). My only gripe is the controller, which seems “coarse”, meaning that it is not capable of flying the airplane smoothly. A little “up” stick movement doesn’t get any nose up change in attitude; a little more stick movement gives you an abrupt pitch up, especially in the MIDD mode. Part of that is inexperienced me, but not all. There is also a full one-second lag in response to throttle movement, but!- all things considered (including price), if I destroy it, I’ll buy another one.

Terrible!!!
For one the transmitter is very cheap it seems like I get the plane and the receiver starts humming I tried to bind it and it never can't became a steady light I tried to rebind it unbind it it would not bind I did the throttle it throttles up but of course if you turn left the air runs go right I tried another battery did the same thing buzzing sound the receiver just kept flashing two times sequentially real quick pause and then it just never became a steady red neither did the transmitter I tried to rebind it still did not work also too the rudder there's no adjustments really it seems like it was cockeyed and the rear elevator support with falling out and the paint is peeling like you just touch it and the paint started peeling in the front off the yellow I rate this product it's definitely not worth $90 it's worth 0 to me because it doesn't work at all and like I said even the transmitter is super small and it seems very cheap you try to go left and right on the controller and it actually goes left and then it goes up like you so if you're turning left or using your rudder it's actually throttling up at the same time so if you're doing a test on it hold it or take the prop off because it's going to want to take off on you because it's almost like a u-shape testing the rudder. I rate this product is zero my opinion do not buy!!!!!

Flys really weird find something else
The plane flies very weird. It’ll turn left just fine but when it comes to turning right, it’s totally absolutely terrible. It takes up a massive park just to turn around when turning right and sometimes when turning right the plane will randomly correct and go left and then crashed into the ground. I wouldn’t recommend for a beginner.

Lightweight, Safe for beginners. Good detail, tough material. Great fun. Buy plenty of spare propellers and batteries.

Very well made and useful spares included. My son loves it.

The remote on this broke very quickly. As soon as the batteries ran low the controller stopped working and will not work even with new batteries. Very poor quality.
