Is the bag the real deal? Meaning real??

This was my review on Amazon. This bag will last you forever. I'm short and it hung too low for me. I really wanted to love this bag. Carhartt is a great company and it is local for me so I wanted to support it. It got great reviews and I am bagaholic so I had to have it. If you're familiar with Carhartt products it is made from Carhartt fabric that is extremely durable and will last a very long time. I am 5'1" and most tote bags are too big for me and the straps are way too long so the bags hang down to my knees. Neither of these were an issue. My problems were the pockets. There are only 2 pockets on the inside of the bag, right next to each other with stitching separating them. Neither pocket was large enough to accommodate my Iphone XR, which is not a huge phone. There also is no snap or zipper closure, which I could have lived with. There is one pocket on the front of the bag but it not a vertical pocket, but sewn on sideways, possibly for a unique design touch . My phone actually fit in this front pocket but it was a horizontal instead of a top loading pocket and I was afraid my phone could fall out at times. For these reasons I returned the bag. If you're just looking for a sturdy tote bag that will last a very long time and pockets are not an issue, you will like this bag.
