This Tower Extension Lead with 12 AC plug sockets, 5 USB ports (including an 18W USB-C fast charger), 1.8m cable, and surge protection is a brilliant space-saver and powerhouse that easily earns 5 stars. Compact, tidy, and it works. Great value

Behind our TV in the lounge was a chaotic web of cables for all sorts of devices - the TV, sound-bar, BluRay player, Roku box, EE-TV box, a network switch, our family NAS, a USB power adapter, a table lamp and our EE internet Router etc etc....... With only 2 mains sockets, we had to use multiple 4-way extension leads. It was a mess and a nightmare when trying to find the plug for a specific device. So, this device is a godsend - and ideal for our needs. The 12 mains sockets are overload protected and can be isolated with a switch on top of the unit (maximum total load is 13A). There is a "reset" button should the unit trip out due to an overload or a fault. There is a separate switch to isolate the 5 USB ports. 4 of these are type A sockets with a maximum combined load of 3A (while a single socket can charge at 2.4A). The other USB socket is Type C and has an 18W PD capability. So, all in all, this is a neat piece of kit. It appears to be well made and all works as advertised. Importantly, it runs cool without getting warm. With a reasonable price and Amazon next-morning delivery, we are rather chuffed 😀 😊

Well designed, although could do with being a little heavier to avoid being knocked over. Everything works well and the design is pleasing to look at. Switches on the top feel secure and practical.

Bought this to replace an old flat 4 socket extension lead, all the wires plugged into it looked very messy, hence I bought this tower design instead. I have to say it's really good looking for an extension socket and it's so much tidier with no wires straddled about on the floor. There's more sockets on it than I'll ever need including several usb sockets 3 usb A and 1 usb C so no matter what you've got it'll plug into this tower. All in all a very comprehensive tower extension with surge protection and on board switches, one for sockets and one for usb's. Takes up very little space too.

Seems well made and has helped tidy the rats nest of cables behind my desk. Useful having the usb ports for direct powering / charging of devices without an extra plug. Be aware that you're potentially powering 16 devices (with the extra usb ports) from a single 13amp socket - be careful not to overload the socket - stick to lower powered devices.
