Absolutely brilliant casserole dish! Far better than the good quality glass dishes. Amazing results with Boulangère potatoes and so easy to clean afterward. Even with baked on juices!! I wish I had discovered these casserole dishes before. You will not be disappointed. Size was perfect. Colour even more so. You can take to table with family and dish up. Well worth money.

Brilliant. Really well made, excellent price, and looks great. It's the perfect size for baking bread, which is what I've bought it for, and it does that excellently. It is heavy, but so it should be for a cast iron pot. You could also do some great casseroles etc in it too. It's a really good Dutch oven.

At first, I was sceptical since I'd never heard of Overmont before, but everything about this oven won me over. The size is absolutely perfect for large sourdough loaves, casseroles, and hearty stews. The enamelled coating is not only beautiful, but incredibly practical. The bright orange finish was exactly as shown in the photos, vibrant and eye-catching, which I was thrilled about since you often don’t get that level of accuracy when ordering online. One of the things that stood out immediately was how well-made this Dutch oven is. The moment I lifted the box, I could feel its solid build. It is heavy, just like you’d expect from quality cast iron, and feels durable enough to last a lifetime. I was particularly drawn to its ability to handle high heat both on the hob and in the oven, which makes it perfect for searing meats or getting that amazing crust on a sourdough loaf. In terms of performance, this Dutch oven doesn’t disappoint. It heats up quickly and retains the heat exceptionally well, which is crucial for baking. I’ve baked a few loaves of sourdough in it already, and each one has turned out with a beautifully crisp crust and soft, airy interior. It also works wonders for slow-cooked dishes like casseroles and stews, locking in moisture and flavour thanks to its tight-fitting lid. The delivery was fast, and the packaging was impressive. Everything arrived in pristine condition, including some lovely extras like the cotton potholders, which have already come in handy. I only paid £50.49, which feels like an absolute steal for the quality you get. It is comparable to high-end brands but at a fraction of the cost. If you're after a Dutch oven for baking or slow-cooking, this one is definitely worth considering. It is fantastic value for money, built to last, and performs like a dream. This has to be one of my best buys. I've been looking at getting a Dutch oven for a ling time but the more expensive ones like chasseur & le creuset have always been way out of my price range so finding this one with an affordable price was great. It's very well made, heavy, solid, bright coloured, easy to clean, comes with lots of little extras like mits hust for the hot handles to lift from the oven, a recipe book, sponge cleaner & silicone mat. All round fantastic product & very happy with my purchace.

This pot is absolutely beautiful in person. I got mine in Burnt Orange and it's so pretty! I refuse to keep it in the cupboard and keep it on my stovetop. Food does stick to the bottom of the pan but it's ridiculously easy to clean and in all honesty, I prefer it... Non stick doesn't ever seem to give the same finish to foods like vegetables etc. My only gripe with it is that the rim of the pot seems to be rusty and there's a hairline crack in it already? It doesn't look like is some sort of serious structural damage, it looks more cosmetic but it's frustrating because the pot isn't even six months old.

I love everything about this casserole dish, having never had a cast iron one before. I chose this one, because it is enameled lined, with a self basting lid. The colour I chose is I would say is teal, rather than sea green. I love teal! I made sure I read all the care instructions, because when you buy something like this, you want it to last, and by just avoiding certain things, like maybe putting it in cold water while it is still hot, or not washing and drying thoroughly, can lead to rust around the bare edges on the rim and lid. I wiped a tiny amount of avocado oil around the dish and lid edges to protect it. It came with a small recipe book. Also, cute little pads for moving it, when the handles are hot, and a silicon mat. My Polish friend taught me to cook Rosol, on the stove top uncovered, which was my first use of it, and as the heat distribution ensured the long slow cooking, essential for this meal, it was a complete success. It is heavy, even when empty, so check you will be able to manage it, All in all, one of my best ever purchases. Being able to start cooking on the stove, then transfer to the oven too, is very useful. It goes without saying that looked after, it will be durable and a great addition to any kitchen.

excellent all round cooking pot. can be used for all types of functions on top of hob or in the oven. looks good and is easy to use. its very easy to clean. retains heat well and even. A valuable item in the kitchen.

I loved the sight of Overmont Cast Iron stew pan. The colour and finish is amazing. I have yet to use it as I recently received it.

The color is to die for, the quality is amazing, you can feel how durable and heavy it is. I have only used this for my sourdough and it has proven time and time again, baking evenly. This would make a great gift to anyone, or to buy for yourself-- great price point.

Ich habe etwas gesucht, um Sauerteigbrot zu backen, und ich liebe diesen Topf. Das Format ist genau richtig und ich habe mich für die orange Variante entschieden. Das Retro-Design ist ganz nach meinem Geschmack. Der Topf ist schön schwer, sehr gut verarbeitet und das Brot kommt richtig knusprig raus. Ich nutze ihn inzwischen nicht nur im Ofen, sondern auch auf dem Herd für verschiedene Fleischgerichte, und auch das funktioniert super. Er ist bei mir mehrmals die Woche im Einsatz, lässt sich gut reinigen und wirkt insgesamt sehr hochwertig. Klare Empfehlung!
