Vibrant color screen
Replaced my W11 when it stopped charging after 4 years. Couldn't reach customer service but figured after 4 years I could use a new watch. So, good basic GPS watch with nice color touch screen. Screen is bright at 60% level. It is brighter and clearer than S62 and LX5. Each watch has pros and cons and the W12 was my final choice. Built in scorecard is convenient. Bluetooth is a waste of battery life. It just connects to app for stats and not for updates. Have to connect to computer for updates. Shot distance is not automatic like Garmin.

GB AIM W12 Battery, green undulations, navigation.
Update March 17 2024. DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP Bought Aug 2023.... = 7, yes 7 months of limited use. Many more problems: 1) after 7 months (3 winter) I barely get 1 round of use before it's dying. 2) it's starting to NOT STORE completed round info 3) using the clock only it barely gets 2 days!!! MY $79 FRONT/MIDY/BACK device is my preferred one. This GB Aim12 is a TOTAL WASTE OF $. DO NOT BUY! The following was a few weeks after purchasing. The battery is garbage CHINA is dumping on America. Wake up. Bought a GOLF BUDDY AIM W12 with expectations that I would get 2 rounds on a charge, green undulations would be displayed for my primary course and navigation would be seamless. *So far I've played 2 rounds and both times I started with a 100% charge and ended below 50%. The rounds were 3H50m and 3H40M. Usually I play around 3 hours, which is relatively quick. Obviously I can not expect to get 2 rounds on a single charge, which was advertised (45 holes). Personally I don't care since I'll charge daily but some players do 36 holes a day occasionally. They won't be able to do that. *It was advertised that green undulations will show on "most courses". IF THEY know that "most" of the 40k courses will be displayed then they should have a list AND a link for potential buyers to check if their courses will in fact be able to be displayed. *The watch should seamlessly navigate from one hole to the next but on my preferred course when you leave the 12th green you go past the 10th tee box on your way to the 13th tee and the watch stays on the 10th hole. IT should go to the 13th especially when you're standing on it. Also, I couldn't get the "distance" feature to work but it's only been 2 rounds. Overall it's a good gps watch.

I love the looks of the watch...
I had the Golf Buddy W10 for 2 years, until it no longer would connect and charge. I shopped around and came back to the new W12. I like the bands it comes with. The watch is pretty self explanitory and easy to use. It gives me the front/middle/back yardages. I like the hole preview to see what the hole layout looks like, and in color. I like that I can zoom in to see things more clearly and come up with some specific yardages I may be needing. Overall, I like the watch and it's priced right. However, I think the watch fails in some other areas. The battery life is shorter than the 10-hours than advertised. I know you can change the display brightness, but I keep it on 3 (1-5) to be able to see if better in the daylight. The Touch IP (Intersection Point) feature is very hard to to get set correctly. I will click on the screen of the location I want and invarible it does not pick that location up, but rather something else completely. I try several times and then skip it out of frustration. If I played several other courses, the green undulation gradation, may be helpful, but I rarely use it. The step pedometer doesn't read correctly. On the previous model, the A10, I felt is was prety accurate. This one just seems to read or count quite high. As an example, it will show 26-28,000 steps when walking the course. Similarly, it will show high when I play a game of pickleball. I play PB with my wife, and her watch will show ~10,000 steps. I contacted the company and they recommended to Reset the watch. I did and there was no change. And finally, the proximetry distances are hard to read at my age, but they are helpful. The distances from the tee or to the green, are a great feature to have. I will continue to use this purchase even with it's limitations. The other GPS wearable choices are out of my budget.

Slick Golf Watch
I have always used Garmin Golf GPS Watches, and when my last one quit charging, I decided to try something different. I was especially interested in the slope feature and green undulation screen. The watch setup is easy. I found the screens reasonably well engineered. I find the distances to be accurate. The green undulation screen is helpful and so much easier than a Green Book. The only issue with the package was that the spare wrist band was missing some pieces. I’m a little worried about the durability of the clips that hold the wrist strap on. They seem very fragile. My only complaint is that the iPhone app only manages getting the courses you want on the phone. It does not collect info on your rounds. That’s a big miss. I don’t mind that it doesn’t get the courses directly to the watch because this extra step makes the watch gear up faster than Garmin. I am concerned about battery life. They tout 11 hours which is BS. When I first got the watch, after a 4 hour round it wad down to 50%. After a couple of months, it in the low 20's. Not good. I enter my score on each hole and the number of putts. At the end of the round, it shows the score summary, but I haven’t found a way to see the putt count. The user manual was ok, but they really need a native English speaker to tweak it. It does the job, but some of the word choices are awkward. From what I saw on Amazon, a Garmin watch with slope and green undulation is a ton more expensive. So, if this watch holds up, it was a good choice.

Service is excellent
I have had my Golf Buddy for just over a year and found it "as advertised" as to performance and accuracy. I had a problem charging the watch and contacted the seller. I was amazed at the speed and efficiency with which my problem was solved. Great GPS and even better customer service. Kudos!

Very good product, accurate info, (lots of it), slight drawback would have liked longer battery life, but charges very quickly
