i really only buy Carhartt for all my shorts and pants needs. Best quality material out there....

Pockets are too shallow at the top left and right Which gives more room for the pockets below at the bottom of the pant legs, but I'd rather have bigger Pocket space up higher because putting bigger and heavier stuff in the lower pockets flops around and bangs your leg... This problem does not occur if you put big heavy stuff in the top ones that are too shallow and it's more of a center of gravity situation Nice extra layer for knife clip or whatever you're putting in those pockets to the right, And sticking out with a clip as I've had plenty of pants wear out because of knife clips on and off in the same spot I suppose button could be better than velcro and snap buttons Which we have here and not the sewed on ones Which you have to stick through slots and are not as reliable long-term... They take more time Overall, I like them... Yet would like to see these kind of pants with zippers on at least a few pockets ,especially for shallow pockets, Which in this case are too easy to lose stuff sitting down. So these shallow top pockets are more than big enough to stick extra large glove hands like I have in, but you don't need those extra 2 inches as I'd rather see that sewn upward for better keeping stuff in the pockets

These are my husband's favorite brand and color of shorts he uses them all spring and summer long. The fit is tight on. Great value for the money eat more expensive on Carhartt site, the pockets are great and the hold up to many washes and wears.

Nice fit and length. Placket are a plus.

Great shorts and good length but waist runs small. Husband wears 34 in everything but 36 in Carhartt.
